A fun puzzle game.  I thought the challenge level was just about right for me.  Nice work!

Wow! I like your concept a lot. It's really good. Great puzzle and I enjoy every levels. One thing tho, colored light are a bit hard to see for me. I need higher opacity and that's it. Good work:)

Really fun game! I'm not sure what made the controls feel so good as they felt, but they felt really good. I really wish there were more levels!

fun concept

Thanks, glad you enjoyed!

Loved the color puzzle ! Mix and matching colored lights to make certain plants to grow. Couldn't figure out the last level ! It was almost like I missed a glass block or something. The concept was really great. Would've loved if this game was played with the mouse instead, WASD and E was okay, but i've pressed the Q a couple times instead of E, making me lose the progression.

Still, really a great game !

Thanks! Appreciate you taking the time to play our game.

Couldn't figure out the last level ! It was almost like I missed a glass block or something.

we've received some feedback now from a couple people around not being able to see what color the combined lights are generating and it seems like maybe this is what you were running into as well. the one glass block provided is enough to solve it; hint - the color difference for white light is super subtle compared to yellow.

ps - sorry about the Q key causing you to lose progress, this is great feedback. adding new input modes such as mouse is something I'll bring back to the team to see about ideating on post jam. (pps - I also had a branch of logic to improve save state data, but went with a really lightweight version for the jam release, so improving that might also help avoid progression loss)

It is by no way an issue and it doesnt change the fact that this is a really enjoyable game and an excellent application of your idea.
Will definitely go back and try the last level =D

Great tutorialization! I like how you introduce concepts in the lower levels and slowly ramp up the difficulty. Fun, original game, but I agree with other comments: the letters and colors are hard to read, and the game might be a bit too small in the browser.

Developer

Thanks! Appreciate you noticing the teams' "tutorialization" through level design.

Original idea. But can't really see what color is what, even though I am not color blinded. Also, as stated by the previous commentators, it's even harder to see without a full screen button. A play field is too cramped, and thats causes a mild claustrophobia

Developer

thanks for the feedback! noted about the inability to see colors and cramped levels. this is really helpful, and something the team can ideate on post jam to see if there is a better camera angle/level grid size to alleviate some of the issues.

Would you mind adding the full screen button to your itch page? The text is really hard to read at that resolution.

Developer

Done! thanks for this suggestion.

Submitted(+2)

Great puzzle game! My only real complaint is the resolution is a bit too small, and it's a bit rough on us color blind folks

Developer

That's totally valid, thanks for sharing! Any suggestions on how to make this sorta game more color-blind friendly? Would shifting away from red and green help? Increasing contrast?

I mean, I'm no accessibility expert, but adding symbols to things color related always helps me. Maybe you can do like a like a symbol in the windows that match with the pots?
