Oooh, this is a super fun idea, being blocked from actually playing the game. XD Gives me big Stanley Parrable vibes. ^^ Having to get creative to continue and the game taunting you for it. XD Love the artstyle and character design. ^^ I enjoyed it very much! :D

This is not what I expected at all! I totally understand why the game is called what it is, but I was a little afraid to check it out, with the harness around the mouth TBH - I also was confused with the naming, thinking maybe it was plugged into the jam as a promotion to a game with no real interpretation of the theme, but boy was I wrong!
This is so fun and clever. Really well done. I'll definitely be showcasing this one on stream!!
Really really cool looking game, concept and ideas! The character is really cool and is actually interesting! Too bad we can't have a proper "ending" but I know how the deadline can push that, because honnestly, with just
some more gameplay ideas (like the one where we write the new game button by ourselves, it's such a funny and interesting idea!) I think this could make a really cool narrator based game (idk how it's called, like "there is no game").
So yeah cool game and ideas for a jam! GG :)
the antagonist is sooo cute! omg. i love their facial expressions. really fun and interesting gameplay. awesome awesome awesome.
my playthrough:
Short but sweet! Really nice art and fun puzzles. I do wish there was an option to manually advance each sentence of dialog as I am a very slow reader and didn't get enough time to appreciate the character art before it moved on to the next expression
Fun stuff! Feels similar in inspiration to "There is no game" or such. Nicely done!
Very fun interpretation of the theme, an entire puzzle game with the antagonist breaking the fourth wall to try and stop you is a great idea with loads of creative and comedic potential
oooh a dangerous direction to take with a game jam. it certainly felt like it was unplayable at first. but I pressed on because I definitely live for the player vs narrator type games. I'd love to see this expanded into a full fledged adventure. I got to the mouse glitch ending and Im hoping I didnt miss anything beyond that.
Was genuinely confused for a minute until I realized what was going on, that was BRILLIANT. Had a good laugh. Loved the art. One of my favorite games in the jam.
Very cute and fun game. Disappointingly short, but thats game jams for you.
That said, I used to do video game beta testing (QA in modern terms) and the inexperience shows. The "X marks the spot" puzzle? Don't do that. Don't ever do that. If this was a full sized game, the player base would go through the entire game clicking on every "X" in the game thinking its another puzzle. It wouldn't matter if it was a store bought asset, a stretched out texture asset or a generic checkered pattern. You taught the players to check the "X" and thats what they're going to do.
Very cute little game with a very cool creative take on the whole idea of being blocked - also really nice art that is very expressive and fun - great work! :D
This is really impressive from two people! Just sad that it ended so soon... Love the "There Is No Game" vibes.
Love the character art--really cute! Also enjoyed the writing and presentation a lot! But will admit... if it hadn't been for the tips on the first two screens, I would have been completely lost, heh
