How did you implement the theme?
I implemented a small idea of interspecific competition, where two types of plants compete for space. Plant one(green) has a more conservative expansion strategy, while plant two(blue-ish) has an aggressive strategy.
How did you add the special object?
The entire game is centered around a malfunction of a printer--which printed a mini map the player has to navigate through. The player finds letters to repair the printer and print "jame".

Really nice, I love the concept and the art too! My only complaint is that grass grows too quickly, then you're stuck.
Other than that, great work! Surely this will rank high up in the jam!
Thanks for the review:) This idea isnt very polished overall since i never really figured out a way to make half of the gameplay enjoyable. Getting "stuck" is supposeably a time-wasting factor, and the only way out is to strategize and "suffocate" the bushes by standing near them(bushes die if there are too many near it). However, that system was bugged and it never happened. Thank you again:)

Thanks:) The map "printing" itself was an idea i had at the early development of the jam. The game I planned in mind had much more and the bushes were only the first part. I did scope the project too much, but I'm happy you liked it:)

Update: the left side menu says "2 sticks + 2 rocks = 1 cutter". I dont know if it is cropped on anyone else's computer but it is on mine
Do not expect anything good:) I have no idea how to polish this jame(since the only other game i made was for a 3 hour game jam—Trijam(it was also a lot of fun)), so view this as a beginner's practice project. Hope you all had fun during this gam:)
