Very cool game you guys made! ^^ Was super fun once you got the rhythm of it and hit block after block. Unfortunately it is quite hard to get there tho as there isn't really a level of depth-perception to tell you when you have to hit space bar. A lot of times I didn't time it right and it did nothing and that felt quite frustrating.
Amazing artstyle though, great protagonist design, LOVE the soundtrack, great voice acting... and a LEVEL DESIGNER too! :o Phenomenal experience you guys made! :D Some polish on the gameplay and you guys got yourself a really amazing game! ^^

here's a recording of my playthrough
The vibe that you've created here is so cool! I love the models, the backgrounds, and the narrative, absolutely phenomenal in this amount of time! That being said, I definitely struggled with understanding where exactly the ball was going, adding some sort of smear to indicate speed/direction might help!
Really cool style and atmosphere! Love all the efforts in the 3D, and we even have some narrative. I would say the gameplay quickly gets a bit too long and repetitive, the tutorial is also a bit long too. There is also some problems about not being able to clearly tell the depth of the ball (like many comments I've seen mentioning it) and yep some bugs like ball getting stucj or broken block not appearing in the right place. When we get to the new mechanics it gives some variety but it still feel a bit too repetitive to play. Some sounds for the ball bounce could have been good also! Overall it's a pretty impressive game for this amount of time! GG
A lot of fun to play! I agree with the other comments that a depth cue would be helpful (maybe making the projectile a different color could help as well), but overall looks, plays, and sounds very solid. Even a level editor? Insane! Loved it
Really struggled hitting the ball without extra depth cue, but it's a really fun theme with beautiful models and great voice acting!
Also, extra points for the level editor—I love tooling!!
The game definitely has potential. The concept is great, it fits the theme, the 3D assets are really well made and the music is great. However, gameplay wise, the game is kinda difficult : the perspective makes it really hard to determine the distance with the projectile and send it back to the targets.
really cool interpretation of 3d pong ,interesting story and overall really well polished experience.
Great visuals and voice acting! It could really do with some kind of aid to help with the depth of where the ball is relative to the player.
Probably the best character model Ive seen so far. the 3D was great and the opening cutscene really set the bar. It reminds me of 2 games. 3D pong during the old Shockwave (Macromedia flash precursor) and Space Squash for the virtual boy. The only issue I had was the depth perception. I wish that the ball changed colours as it flew and had a shadow cast on the backdrop. maybe blue away, red towards, and green if its within reflector distance. Over all a great interpretation of the theme. I'll play it again later
? Was this designed for VR? Its a "behind the player"-camera Arkanoid game right? I cannot for the life of me get the character to line up and knock the ball back.
Great character design though. Love it and the "space suit".
Awesome concept and just the amount detail that went into the character building, voice acting, and artwork alone - this game deserves a visit and has a lot of potential to be a fast paced action-puzzle-battler game!
I really wanna like this game. It looks so cool, the story seems like it has potential, the art, music, and voice acting is wonderful! But the gameplay... It needs some work. The ball gets stuck easily, bouncing endlessly back forth, or it reacts weirdly and even when i hit it, it ricochets and I lose health anyways. The broken blocks spawn in the wrong spaces. The colliders are not aligned properly. It is hard to tell the depth of the ball, leading to me thinking I am gonna hit it and not. It sucks even more because I feel like this could of easily been a really good game but I just cannot get into it because something that feels unfair keeps happening. I wish you guys the best with your game but I didn't even get through the first full level...
the art assets are great, but the gameplay is not. deflecting the ball feels erratic and random, and it's concerning since that's the game's core mechanic.
Voice acting, custom soundtrack, and wow - absolutely great character and environment art. Definitely the best-looking game of the jam for me so far, will end up ranking way up top. ^^
I'm not sure about the narrative (subtitles would've helped), and the gameplay is challenging due to slightly imprecise controls. When you do hit, however, it is punchy and satisfying. Can't wait to make it through the later levels!
