Cool idea! Was fun to figure out what was/if there was something wrong with the badges and having to lookout for something new every day. Speaking of, is the date always the day you are playing on? :o If yes, cool, if no, I would suggest adding the current year next to it so people won't have trouble calculating how old attendees are in the future. ^^'

The art is great! Loved all the different characters and how you could tell their vibe just by looking at them and the little interactions you have with them. The paw is also a really creative idea, but it was difficult to aim with it at times. The game was also bit easy tho but that could be changed by adding more things to check or a time limit before con goers in the queue get angry. ^^'

It is the current time!

I did try making the game harder, but without playtesting I didn’t want to push the envelope too much haha

Thanks for playing!

This was a fun take on the "Papers Please" concept with great art and nice little interactions between the characters! The "vowels matching last digit of the badge number" did, however, feel like a very strange way to increase difficulty; it also raises the question of whether "y" counts as a vowel. I wonder if maybe the characters' heights that the game already gives you could be the next level of difficulty instead? Overall, I had a great time playing through this one!

the paw is so cute :0 and the art in general is cute and nice. i like the designs of the characters that the player interacts with. i like the little interactions where characters try to bribe you hahaha. the gameplay is overall fun and intuitive :)

here's a recording of my playthrough:

Love the character designs! Sometimes clicking the right thing was a bit tricky, but I really enjoyed the visuals of the 'first-person hand controls'—it's a really cute touch!

Fantastic art and smooth gameplay. I LOVE the idea of the arm/paw being the cursor, though I agree with the other comments that it is a bit awkward at times.

The art and the gameplay is great. The only complaint I have is regarding the UI with the buttons that are kinda hard to click on. The idea of the character's arm being the cursor is very original and I like it.

Also, I find the achievements to be great for replayability (I've restarted the game to get some so that's a good sign).

Very cute characters that are well drawn and quite expressive! :D Lovely take on "papers please" and a good fit for the jam!

art assets are nice. clicking on UI is awkward, however.

Glory to Arstotzka, I mean, what if Papers Please were set in a furry universe? GREAT character art, relatable theme (for us convention-goers), and wow, some of these badges are tricky.

An improvement would be a better mouse cursor (see what I did there), the cat's paw is super hard to use. Or bigger buttons overall. :)

I enjoyed this one, because it takes a proven, great game idea, adapts it to the jam's context, and does so with excellent art and good music!

Amazing art direction throughout!
