Really fun and immediately obvious to play. The final staircase was a nice challenge, and the game was fun enough to keep me trying until I got it.

Developer

Thanks, I'm really glad you enjoyed!

Yep, a excelent prototype in concept and core mechanic, perfectly aligned with the theme. Simplier than others, like ā€œMenu Brakeā€ or ā€œPress AltF4 to jumpā€ in the ā€œpause menu mechanicā€, but, becasuse of this, itĀ“s far more organic, more ready-to-action, quicker, addictive. Using one key for pause and mouse to select next action makes it more dynamic.

Very short, itĀ“s a pity you hadn’t more time to develop some more leveles and mechanics (combos of options in pause, for example), but itĀ“s a good work, congrats!

Developer

Thank you, much appreciated!

Like the idea of changing actions in the pause menu:) I tried a couple of times but eventually won. Level could use some expansion but the rest is really good!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, unfortunately level design was the last thing we did and time ran out haha. We'll probably post some updates after the jam.

woah, this is really cool!

i still can't get past the staircase... haha

Developer

I know, it's surprisingly hard (mostly because we ran out of time for level design lol). You have to time the jump so that you land on the front of the smaller step. Thank you, glad you like the concept!

Good job! I like the concept of having time to think about the next action. I bet from here on you could add a great number of levels with gameplay you have.

Developer

Thank you! I wasn't sure how it would actually work in practice when we started, but I think the proof of concept is actually fairly compelling.

Really nice little game, and it fit the theme perfectly! The ending is crazy hard though šŸ¤£! It tooks quite a long time, but I've still managed to pass through the level. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, the end is a pretty big ramp in difficulty... The actual level design was basically done in the final 20 minutes haha. Glad you enjoyed enough to beat it!
