It took a little to get the hang of it. I think my problem was the difference between left and right attacks was much harder to see after stealing the sword. So waiting till the last second to steal the sword definitely helped.

Really liked the game over screen changing over time, very nice touch. I think a tutorial or at least walking the player through their first pickpocket would've really helped me understand what to do. And of course, simple attack and pickpocket SFX would greatly improve the experience so consider adding some if you plan on updating this.

Great job executing on such a unique concept!

Ooh didn’t even think of a strategy like that. Tried to improve on the animations once, but apparently they still look too similar. There’s only so much I can do with a puppet without making it too complex or making it look too whacky. But it’s actually pretty cool there’s multiple strategies.

Tutorial sounds good, was just getting a bit tired and gutted a lot of last touch polish. There’s a hint section in the description though if you get stuck. Planned some kind of smear effect for the attacks too but scrapped ‘em when noticed I’m running out of time and the gameplay was still unfinished. Great suggestions though, I’ll see if I update this someday, at least fixing the simultaneous sneak + pickpocket bug.

Thank you! And thanks for trying it out and feedback!

Nice little stripping game! Took a minute to realize I had transitioned from cinematic to gameplay so I died twice in a row by not doing anything lol

I found it a bit tough to know what counted as out of the way so some way to make that clearer would be good. Maybe have an option to crouch and jump, and she telegraphs her attacks a bit so you dodge correctly, then you can lvl 99 pickpocketting her armor off after she misses.

I found a bit of a cheat in that you can crouch+click to pickpocket before she gets knocked back, so I was never at risk of being hit :3

Ooh should have made a “FIGHT” text appear when the game starts ahah.

Yeah planned a red tint on left or right accordingly, but left them out thinking that the animations were different enough. Dodging and and then pickpocket was the idea for the gameplayloop, but my stupid spaghetti code apparently imploded xD Should have tested more but got tired of debugging my crappy code. Thanks for letting me know hehe :D

Eyy no worries on the spaghetti code, that's what these jams are for haha. It's awesome you got it done, and the updating game over screen was a very nice touch! Hope to see more of your stuff in the future ^_^
