Game Description
we had this cool idea that you are a farmer in a cave who defends his farm from growing hordes of mosters. Sadly my team mate and artist had to quit mid project, so it just became a small prototype... but I still had so much fun :)

How does your game tie into the theme?
you plant seeds that grow into plant towers

Nice concept! I love defense game, and this one was nice, I became quite intense quickly, and some plants were less useful than other, I always got shroom blockers for some time, instead of a second “mage” with lightning.

Honestly good job! I was fun

Good concept, its a pity that your team had to quit but its well done either way, a highscore and valance changes is the main thing that it needs in my opinion :)

Fun game! At first I didn't realize that the placement of the units affected the path of the enemies. It was fun to discover a deeper mechanic mid game :)

Sorry to hear your teammates stopped working on it. It has the bones of something that could be quite the time sink.

Cool game.

When you have a bunch of lightning mushrooms, the game doesn't seem to ever end (or at least you can just sit idle for quite a while without any enemies getting through).

Also, the html file doesn't work. When you export a game to HTML, upload a zip with all the resulting files, not just the html file itself. You can also then set that file to "will be played in the browser", so it can be played directly on itch.io.

Cute little tower defense game. The tower placement was  intuitive thanks to the use of the theme, but there were some elements that could have used a bit more tutorialization. I never understood how you use the black boxes on the bottom of the screen. Were they for inventory or abilities? Also, it was not immediately obvious that you can click on the enemies to damage them, so I had a few game overs before I finally started really going.
