Took me a minute to realize I could put stones on the stones already placed. I feel real smart now. The art and feel of the game are solid. Good work!

This is a really fun word game once I figured out the strategy to everything. I didn't realize I could make fake words for a bit as long as tiles are placed on stones that are already there, I'm sure it says it in the description somewhere. It's kind of a complex game so I'm sure creating a fully comprehensive tutorial is tough. I also didn't realize I only needed to make one 7 letter word, maybe it'd be cool if there was a hard mode to make 2 or maybe even 3 7 letter words. Overall I really liked the game, it made me feel so stupid and so smart while I played, nice roller coaster of emotions lol. Great work!

Thank you so much! Yeah, I think a tutorial that was more demonstrative and interactive would have helped, but I just ran out of time. I think maybe an infinite mode (or an option to go infinite once you win) would be a good addition as well. I really appreciated you playing it on your stream! It's one thing to get comments, but seeing it get played is so helpful and it was very fun to watch.

Did not realize you could drop stones on existing stones at first, even though it IS spelled out in the tutorial (somehow I forgot). After realizing that, it made the game much better!

Nice little game! Congrats on the submission!

Thank you so much! :)

As someone who usually likes word games, I wish the tutorial talked about swapping letters (I only figured that out from reading the review below talking about figuring it out from reading it from a review ... reviewception), and even trying out the game several times I couldn't really get into it :( it was also hard to read the letters sometimes with the stylistic font.  But it looks and sounds really great, and everything seems to work pretty well, great job :) Maybe it just isn't the right game for me.

Took me a couple times to understand what I was doing then it got fun.  Loved the art.  Nice work!

I am awful at word games, especially puzzle word games. However, the game was still very fun to play. The graphics looked great including the UI. I really liked that you had different difficulty levels and a tutorial. Also an interesting take on the growing theme!

Thank you so much! We weren't sure if it was going to be too frustrating or just the right amount, especially with an old man off to the side roasting you the whole time.

Beautifully made with fantastic art direction, although quite difficult even on easy mode. I only realized I could swap letters after reading a comment on the game's page 😅

I thought it was interesting you had to make longer words in order to create more space to change those words into even longer words, and that you HAVE to displease the gods some times and make up words so you can change them.

Maybe it should be a little easier to reach that refresh runes button though.

I think the tutorial is bugged btw, it didn't teach me how to move stuff! I tried to click when prompted, and it just skipped ahead.

Thank you for such a detailed comment! We’re going to have to fix the tutorial issue after the jam is over :/ So glad you liked it!

Extremely impressive! It took me awhile to figure out a tactic of growing my word size. I ended up in a rhythm of making a word with how ever many spaces I had unlocked, then adding an s to the end, then forming a new word of the new length. Once I got that down, became a lot more manageable. I was also really surprised to see just how many words it registered.

Art is really well done, and overall polish and execution is really great.
