Absolutely loved the artwork on this game. Very cozy ^^.
This game was really fun, good work! The whole game seemed very well polished!
Artwork and sound design are fantastic! UI took a little bit to figure out, but I got it after a bit of experimenting! Really neat!
Fantastic work! Congrats on your first game! I look forward to seeing what you do next :)
Super nice game ! The drawing are so smooth and relaxing ! I really liked the experience of creating potions and finding out what the potion does. My only "complain" and it's a really small one, the tutorial video went too fast, I think a more "MS PowerPoint" type of tutorial would've helped me understand the first time around, but that's really minor, doesn't change the outcome of my rating =) Really glad i've played it !
Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely try to make a proper tutorial next time
Took me a moment to figure out how to play, but once I did, it was fun experimenting with different potions and discovering what they do. I think this could be expanded with more potions and yield types!
The game is charming! I played until I tested all the potions. You need a moment or two to understand how the game works, but it was no problem at all. For me, it was a part of an interesting exploration. I enjoyed mixing the potions. The idea of magical gardening and mixing different effects is very promising.
PS: It’s super cool that you have a tutorial.
Wasn't sure how to play but the graphics and audio were great!
My apologies but I was really confused and I wasn’t able to grow anything. I watched the tutorial, and then made 3 potions. I clicked and dragged them over, and they fizzled away and loaded in the shelf? Then I clicked next day and was told no yields, then I went back to the potion side and I was out of ingredients to make anything else. I think I am missing something.
Really liked the art. The thumbnail really helps the game stand out. I just wish I knew how to play
Some potions still include bugs that we weren’t able to fix in time. I apologize, if the plant doesn’t grow at all, try not to use the green fruit potion on the first day? I’ll ask if we can fix it or not.
Other than that, used potions are supposed to show on the left side, potion effects could be check in the recipe book on the top left corner. Some potions have special effects on yields. The plant should grow on itself even if no potions were used at all.
I went back and didn’t choose green on the first day. I just used one and was able to grow the plant! I do think it would be great if there was more feedback. Some plant stages the potions wouldn’t dissolve, but I didn’t know why. Also could be fun to give an interaction with the plant. Maybe if you click it, it bounces, or something. Thank you for explaining how to play!
And thank you for the feedback!
Very nice Thumbnail which brought me here. Nice graphics, music and sound.
I had big problems finding where I had to click to mix the potions working and get everything working.
I think the controls or missing visual feedback where I could click on, and where I had to put things lead to me not enjoing the game. Maybe a tutorial or a bigger explaination would be helpful.
Also personally, maybe it would be cool to have a wide desk setup with both the playing screens on? and not having to switch between the two? Maybe some camera movement?
I liked the setup of the growing pot.
Also please go to your itch page and put in the option for the fullscreen button. Your game has so much detail but I have to play it in this tiny browser window.
It is hard for me to realize that my own design is missing visual feedback so thank you very much for commenting! A wider desk setup is also a good suggestion.
I have considered a better tutorial and camera movement between scenes, but we didn’t have enough time to include those features. I’ve highly overestimated my programming ability and went looking for a programmer teammate 2 days after the jam began.
The screen setting is changed. It’s my first time uploading so I didn’t know how to add the full screen button. Thanks again for that!
