You can't go wrong with controlling a dino! It's a nice approach to the theme with some cool ideas that could have been developed a bit more! Great job, and congrats on your entry!

Thanks for the feedback:)

Yeah, we hope we'll do better on the upcoming jama

I like the idea you have here. The camera was just really annoying. Loved the music and sound effects though. It is sad you didn't get to finish what you set out to do. But you have a great start!

Thanks! Yeah, we had several ideas for the camera but we couldn't really make it work. Could you tell us more about what bothered you, exactly?

Submitted(+1)

It kept flipping around and or getting stuck pointing the wrong direction. It is annoying, but it was really not that bad of an issue. Glad to be of help.

Thanks for the clarification!

I like the idea that you make an exporation as a core part of the game.  It's a shame that you guys didn't have enough time to impliment all features but it is indeed a very great start! The most problematic part for me is the camera control for the web version if you could fix this it will be much better to play. I think an easy fix for this is to go to Edit game > Embed options > How should your project be run in your page? > click to launch in fullscreen  or use higher Viewport dimensions like 1280 x 720.  Also it would be nice to have a minimap or arrows pointing to dino's farm and seeds << I stuck in a maze and couldn't find a way out for awhile haha. <<< might be skill issue from my part :)

Developer

Thanks for checking our game out! Yeah, we definitely were missing a lot of quality of life improvements, including minimaps and quick travel. It's great getting feedback into the most important missing aspects, so thanks!

Wow, you really went big with this one! Full 3D models and worlds. A day/night cycle. Shooting for the stars! Very cool!

Great work!

Developer(+1)

Haha thanks. The cool thing about making big games is that you learn a lot :)

Pretty ambitious project. The idea of a dinosaur growing seeds on their back is a rich concept. Having multiple abilities for combat is always nice. Even though a lot of it is obviously unfinished, i think it's a great start.

Developer

Thanks for your kind comments :) I think we will do better in the future, when we can coordinate better

Even if the scope was a bit high with this, I have to say I enjoyed it a lot!

Developer

Thanks! I think we'll do better in future jams, but honestly our artists already had all the assets ready, we just ran out of time before we could implement them. We were so close to hitting our objectives.

It was fun walking around as a dinie! I also did enjoy the music. I wasn't to sure how to get seeds or what happened to the plants/trees i was growing. I also did like the dino mechanics and animation.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We attempted to tutorialize the game a bit more through a quest system, but in the end were a bit overly ambitious.
