I think I broke the game by placing tornado and spring near enemy on level 2 lol

The graphics are really cute and I really like the story XD

lol I just found out you could infinitely kill the king while the credits rolled out XD

nice one XD

Wow, very interesting mechanic on toggling between blueprint and execution. Took me a while just to get comfortable with placing ramps. The whirlwinds are tricky indeed!

Nice touch with the sfx and bgm. Congrats on your game's release!

edit: oh just read your reply on a comment about opting out of the music rating... still, kudos for tasteful use of it.

Developer

Yeah… I wish I could make BGM like that but ain’t mine. I’m glad you liked the use of sfx though, that part was all me (including the lil “Waa!” death noise)

Cool concept, loved the art!

This one is interesting, but i felt that controls could a bit better (e.g. not need to select the same piece again if i want to place more of the same). I didn't got too far either since an enemy placement got me kind of stuck trying to figure out how to pass it but having to wait every time to get there and dying right away.

Oh wow what a fun concept! Nice graphics and music, and writing in the intro phase when I was trying to figure out how the game worked was funny, hah! The controls are a bit janky and I got it stuck (maybe entered the editing mode while the architect was dying?) but got to the next area! The death sound made me laugh after hearing it so many times, hahah! Amazing job finishing the jam!!

Developer

Thanks! The sound effects were a lot of fun to make, I basically spent 3 or 4 hours on Sunday morning making weird grunts and whacking objects of various materials together in front of a mic :D

I really should’ve saved the outtakes for the death sound lol

Really fun concept. Nice!

Note to reviewers: Music was not created during the jam period / for the jam. As such, I’m opting out of Audio ratings.

Fonts aren’t mine either, but that’s allowed per the rules…all other assets were created by me during the jam period.
