- - A few bugs in the code, requiring restarts - I think this game would do well with a timeline kind of screen, just to know which path you're on when replaying (edit: nevermind, Adeia tells you the ending conditions after you drink enough ambrosia) - I liked how meta the "yourself" ending is, talking about game code and game devs - Speaking of which, there is a bug when rounding the number of ambrosia vials that I can't seem to get rid of no matter how many times I reopen the game - The game could use a bit of feedback in the navigation section - Ah yes, the combat. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is ever a reason to pick "attack" over the other options... Here's an analysis: You Adeia attack vs attack 7 bleed each attack vs block 8 bleed vs 0 bleed attack vs dodge 0 bleed each block vs attack 2 bleed vs 10 bleed block vs block/dodge 0 bleed each dodge vs attack 0 bleed each dodge vs block/dodge you heal 2 or 3 bleed And so, the best choice is adeia attacks -> block adeia blocks -> dodge adeia dodges -> dodge ... which is a bit underwhelming I suppose (don't ask me why I bothered to analyze this) - I like this idea of a text-based RPG, which is quite different from the other submissions - Always a fan of time loops and meta stuff - Well done! If not for the occasional bug, this could pass for a professionally made game! - Oh well I don't have much to say anymore lol
- The story is good and unique, and the art is really good. One problem I have is that due to the nature of a looping kind of game is that I have no idea if I'm progressing at times, or if I'm going in an actual loop, which might be a pro from some perspective, but it's not something for me personally. I also did not enjoy the directional minigame, as there are times where the warning shows up after the arrow directions take an input, meaning that following the directions too quickly could cause a combat encounter. The combat is also not great, as spamming block is the best strategy for dealing with the first fight, and fighting the devil is practically impossible. Overall, I'd say this is the best game in the Jam. It is very unique, and with some more polish and testing (which I know isn't possible in a game jam) I see potential in the game expanding beyond just a game made in 3 weeks for a game jam that only like 20 people know about. I don't even like visual novels all that much, and this was still very good. Great work to everyone involved.
- This is phenomenal! Within three weeks you have achieved what I would consider a full-length and nearly fully-polished game. The length of the game is a little too long for a game jam, for future reference, I think it would be wise to keep the length as short as possible for jam games (attention span :( ), I expect that because of this, people may not have been able to complete the game and provide a fair rating. The storytelling and character building leaves me speechless, the fourth-wall-breaking-ness is always a plus. The loop almost never gets repetitive with the incredible amount of variation in dialogue. The two mini-games are short enough to not be boring, simple and elegant enough to not be mentally-taxing, and serve to space out the dialogue very well. There could be a little more polish to the mini-games, like the motion of the arrows, auditory and visual feedback for both mini-games, etc. The 3D background really sets the scene for the environment the characters tread through, and the ambience contributes to the vibes too. I think this game would benefit from some well-placed music, especially during key moments and events, would help build tension and make the story even more immersive. However, these suggestions did not affect a perfect 15/15 rating from me, as I can tell that majority of the time was put into the design of the plot. In my opinion, this game not only excels within its own genre, but trumps all other games of arguably more "exciting" (to the general public) submitted to this jam. I would love to see this project expand into a full, published game. Incredible job!
- - Visual Images are insane, look really professional - Sound design and bg music really sets the mood well - Really cool story, also good on theme - Turn based combat is a little iffy and confusing for the player

Genuninely- if this was only made in 3 weeks, I'd love to see more of this game! (Sequel?) It was a really fun play and I enjoyed the dynamics all the characters had. The atmosphere work is really well done too, when I initially booted up the game I genuinely thought I was in it for the long run for the next few hours.
Thanks! While we can't promise a sequel, there's definitely more to this world than just this game, and I'd love to go into the details of a society with humans and devils as well as the implications of a substance like ambrosia! (Maybe I'll write some fiction about it...?) Glad to know you liked the game and thanks for playing :]
Is there gameplay at all ?there is turn-based combat and a navigation game, but not right off the bat. this is a story-heavy game so don't expect too much action :]
