Cool tone and nice suspense building. I liked how I could lower reputation by ignoring the call and by hassling the soldier at the beginning for not recognizing me. It will be fun to see what how the other paths open up in this game. Nice work!
The visuals and audio are extremely atmospheric. The minimalist style and straight to the point writing help propel the plot forward in a way that doesn't feel overly slow or tedious.
An issue that was pretty persistent were grammatical errors and typos. The writing itself was interesting, but its presentation felt hamstrung by those consistent errors.
Otherwise, it was a very cool game! I took every chance I could early on to be difficult by not answering the phone and being rude to people, just to see what would happen. Ultimately, I landed the Kaiju Empire ending, which is probably appropriate for someone who is deliberately unhelpful during a kaiju apocalypse.
Admittedly I'm not a big fan of visual novels, but this was a cool take that added, or at least tried to add, a tactical layer to it.
I really liked the visuals, the minimalist retro graphics combined with the odd mix of character styles was really cool. And the sound design was fitting.
I noticed a number of typos or grammatical errors, but that's bound to happen in a jam game with a lot of text.
It's a shame the game is unfinished, at the moment it seems like there is no way to actually stop the Ha Kaiser? In any case I got multiple of the bad endings before packing it in. And btw I like that theres so many different paths, it provides a good reaction to the player choices.
Great work! I hope you finish the game post-jam!
I love the amount of worldbuilding, it just sucks you right in. The sense of impending doom is really well done. I loved being able to put my name in and even name the team! I also learned that maybe I should trust my advisors, if I'm ever a commander because the first ending I got was the news ending....
Cool, graphic art. I really liked the characters and the cover of the project! :)
Very nice visuals. I like your style
Such a clever concept for a game, I can't wait to see where the other branches take you. Loved it!
Thank you always for the opportunity to make games for your Jams, some of the best experiences i've had, have been inside these game jams you direct, is not easy finding good places to share content and feel happy while doing it!
An excellent narrative experience with a stunning art direction!
The best game I've tested in the jam so far!
Fantastic work, truly impressive!
Thank you so much for those kind words! I am so happy I was able to leave an impression! Hopefully I can add more to it and be able to at least create more complete experience!
