    2. give enemies more bullet patterns

Your are maker of videogames of Godot?

(1 edit)

I try to (doesn't always work out that well :) ).
As far as experience, about a year...?  I had a previous project with some friends that ended up getting canceled, but I learnt lots from it that I ended up using to make Containment Breach...

I also create games in Godot but I really like having 2d games. I am creating my project called "Sell Fast" right now I am making the game tutorial which is small because I have seen that the judges get angry when there is no tutorial and they do not know what to do in the game. Also this is my first time in a jam and I would like to win it so I am going to try. I have 7 months of experience and you?

Hi just so you know this is a non-competitive jam! No one judges anything, it's just to help anyone working on a portfolio. And no one will get angry at anything :)

Orlando, do the games have to be in English or Spanish?

Host

Spanish (or other language) is fine! I've been thinking about whether to add English-only to the rules for future weeks (just for moderation) but I haven't given it much thought yet. I certainly won't be suddenly changing the rules for this week's jam. Thanks for asking.

Hi! I've decided to make a mini-game that was in my stash for a long time.

My goals for this jam are:

- Making the Player shooting mechanics

- Build a target system

- Make SFX

- Make 3D assets

- Compose the music for both the Main Menu and the Game Scene

Hey! The plan is to improve the game (Lost in Space) I made for the Chilli Code Jam. I had some fun and learned a bunch while making it, so I was looking for some motivation to improve it further. The goals:

  • Change the controls to WASD for movement, with mouse aiming and shooting.
  • Fix the procedural generation of levels to remove glitches.
  • Add an audio control option in the settings menu.
  • Implement new items and weapons.
  • Introduce new characters that can be unlocked through gameplay.
  • Fix some glitches with the enemies and add new ones.
  • Create a simple scrapping resource system for objectives and to be used in crafting.
  • Rebalance the gameplay

And, of course, get some feedback on the game!

Hello bro already my game are uploaded but want do question.¿When are you going to rate them?

Host

Hey, well done submitting! I don't rate the games or anything. The main aim of the jam is to help people set weekly targets and work on a portfolio over time. I'll think about how I can encourage people in the jams to try the submitted games and give each other feedback as that would certainly help people. Maybe I can put something in the jam description, or make a thread for feedback requests. Let me know if you have any ideas.
