Typing game and I can't skip dialog with keyboard ๐๐ and can't get to next level with keyboard. Also will be cool to highlight text with green, because red associates with wrong answer. You can highlight text in red when player mistypes character. Also would be nice to add symbol for "space" between words. And I miss cursor which will follow current typed letter, because I can't know if I press space (died so many times because of that).
Thanks for the review and that you played my game, skip dialogue I did not add because players would not understand the plot, the color red is associated with mistakes, wrong, etc. but I just decided to leave it, because we have a theme jam trust no one, and it kind of says that the chef is already something wrong. About the space, at the last levels you have to write words with a space, maybe you just haven't gotten to those levels.

It was fun seeing main chef changing over as the level progresses...
Played till level 12 then rage quitted...
At first I thought the spelling mistakes were made by mistake...
As level progressed I understood that over the time the spelling mistakes happened more frequent because more reliant on GMO I guess?
Overall a cool concept...

Enforce The MatrixThis is really really fun. I already enjoy type racing games, and this scratches just the right itch.
- one nit: I noticed that hitting enter causes a "wrong keyboard layout" popup. I just exited the prompt and continued.
- typo in "breakfest", "capcake" (intentional?)
- I thought Level 7 with the bouncy text was hard on my eyes... but then I saw Level 8. LOL I immediately lost the level, on the very first word. I took 10 tries. Eventually, the spinning text was too much. This one is hard, haha.
- One thing that could be nice is to suppress inputs for a split second after you get a word wrong, so that you don't immediately use up all of your lives.
I didn't even know what "triticale" was until this game ahaha, and I love that the chef slowly gets more and more unhinged. This is exactly what the theme was asking for. Fantastic work!
