I really like the concept, and the game has a nice flow to it!

That said, it would be great if the text animation could be skipped with a click. At first, I instinctively tried to swipe the tiles(first minigame), which obviously didn’t work, then I tried clicking - maybe a small hint could help guide players to start the first minigame. Oh, later I realized you can press the cross to skip the text - that’s nice.

On the level with different shapes, it could be cool to color the text hints differently. For example, if the hint says "red diamond," you could paint the word "diamond" yellow, similar to the last level, to add a bit of variety. Also, sometimes shapes overlap, making it tricky to click on the right one. I was expecting some kind of grand finale, but it’s totally fine that there isn’t one.

Overall, it’s a well-thought-out game, and with a few small improvements in guidance and visual clarity, it could be even more engaging!

Hey 2nd last mission is not fair, It asked to catch specific shapes but keep changing Tasks at sudden. Like I was suddenly asked to catch green circle from catching red square. And guess what at the moment green circle just passed by cursor to down the screen and I lost.

BTW fun gameplay, I enjoyed Decrypting Codes more than reading Govt Docs.  LOL

Thank you so much!

Woww! I really love the game. I remember watching a lot of videos about Cicada 3301 few years ago.  Something you can try in the coming updates is replace the texts with videos or atleast add some images in between.  It is super polished though! Congrats!

Developer

Thank you!
will keep that in mind for future updates!

I like the concept of the game and the fact i had to play some different mini games in the files makes it interesting...nice game

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the concept and the mini-games!

Presentation and polish draws you in. But then I had to read 🥲. Nice work on delivering a finished concept.

Developer

Haha, reading is the true final boss! 😆
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked the presentation!

How to get through the last minigame if you're a reptiloid. You don't.

Developer

Spot on!
but don't forget, there is always hybrid one. https://www.sfgate.com/tech/article/Mark-Zuckerberg-suspected-lizard-person-8204111.php

Very impressive that you managed to fit in 5 minigames into the jam, nice work!

  • My favorite is the color game. That definitely took me a few tries to get right. The shape minigame was a little challenging sometimes when the text would change to indicate a shape that was already on the screen and almost to the bottom of the screen. This happened a few times, but I eventually passed when I got lucky :p
  • Every minigame had a clear objective and was nice, neat, and self-contained. For the color one, I eventually deduced I needed to match the word with the actual color -- instead of matching words, but a quick sentence describing the goal could be helpful there.

I wish there was a grand finale after the last game -- perhaps a new file appears, for example, that somehow unifies all of the conspiracy theories into one big universe. And as you said, maybe CIO does exist... haha

Thanks so much for playing and for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed the minigames. Love your idea for a grand finale—maybe CIO is watching… 👀

Enjoyed playing ! :D

Was able to unlock all files ! Except the last one >.<

Well made ! :3

Thanks for playing!  Glad you had fun! The last file is a tricky one… maybe there's more to uncover? 👀🔍

I like the creative use of turning classified files/images as grid puzzler. A bit too much reading over gameplay but that is just the genre of the game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Glad you liked the classified files concept!
Totally get what you mean about the reading—it’s part of the genre, but I’ll keep that in mind for balance.

It was a fun game...

The shape dropping puzzle was a bit difficult to play because sometimes the shapes required wouldn't appear at all...

Thanks for playing!
Glad you had fun! I hear you on the shape puzzle.
Appreciate the feedback! 🙌
