Really neat entry, I enjoyed the kind of "speed sokoban" vibe where you're having to make box pushing decisions as fast as possible, makes it feel both exciting and smart. I DO feel like the cutscene to gameplay ratio is a bit off, theres a lot of waiting and viewing the same footage. Cohesive artstyle, nice work with this entry!

Great concept, i like the cutscene and the story is very interesting! You did a great job

Super nice game! Like other reviews my only real critique is the randomness of the paths.

The concept is really cool and pretty unique! I love the slightly dark art direction and the pressure of having to make quick decisions while trying to remember the path.
Great work!

Slow clap!!! the cutscene and story alone sold me

Cool game! I like the presentation of the scene during the gameplay parts. The atmosphere feels eerie and the hand definitely helps with that. Also I definitely got jumpscared at the end lol.

Cool idea and I respect putting whole cutscenes in there!

Solid work, the animations and feel of movement were great. The little bit of story and cutscenes were awesome to see. The cutscenes felt really high quality.

That being said there was a few issues I came across.

Biggest one is definitely the randomness and the consequence of being unlucky. I might be wrong but I could not find a way to tell what route was correct, so it was guessing, getting an unlucky guess was a slow death waiting for the hand to catch up (I did love the hand, a very cool enemy concept!). This on its own is kind of fine but has more issues because of the next thing.

It would be really nice to be able to skip the cutscene. Its a nice cutscene, but considering you see it after death every time.. well you kind of see it alot and it can be super annoying when you get a bad pattern and die instantly because the hand is moving super fast on level 8. So you watch it 2 times in a row and its not long but its also not instant so dying alot adds up. A game that excels in this area is hotline Miami, death is constant fast and the game is brutal and hard. But retrying the section is instantaneous.

those are honestly the only 2 kinda issues that arent just minor nitpicks or recommendations. You did well but these 2 things combined to make the later levels less fun.

I noticed the UI was behind the flooring, in unity it can help to give canvases their own layer ontop of everything.

Great work on the entry, but level 8 was a bit much (I did win but took me quite a while)

Developer

Thanks for such a detailed feedback!

"Hotline Miami" point really makes sense, already fixed)

To say about randomness and finding the right path, i placed boxes through the level, which are obstacles and indicators of right route at the same time. But it seems hard to observe, so this area needs rework)

Very nice and innovative idea, great game!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The box killed me more times than I want to admit lol

really liked the artstyle and vibes. I’ll have nightmares today tho

after ending the game I found the last levels a bit frustrating: it’s random and there’s no way to tell which is the good path :(

Developer

As planned, the boxes were supposed to help find the right route a little. But it hard to find, so it needs some rework)
Thanks for your feedback and playing!

anyhow, I really liked the artstyle and vibes, and most parts of the gameplay (just found the randomness a bit unfair haha) - really good job!

The art style and visual effects are good, but why doesn’t the big hand in the back move? Maybe it would chase after me? Also, objects can block the UI.

Developer(+1)

It supposed to move) Thanks for your notice, already fixed

I'm back! The game is fantastic - you're clearly great at storytelling through gameplay!
