Thanks for the unexpected positive feedback everyone! And just to be clear, I'm amazed that I built anything that's playable in time. Figuring out how to add polish, a main menu, and compiling it all within the last hour (and it actually working first try after uploading it without testing) was a rush unlike anything else. I'm already addicted and signed up for 10 more jams currently. 😂 It will be fun to look back at my progress after 100 more jams.

hey don't undersell your game, maybe it's not what you expected but it's actually a solid idea and I didn't even find bugs, good work!

I liked that game a lot! I loved the dynamic, it was so fine! Thx for the amazing submission!

Really fun! Really cool project!

Hey, no worries that you didn't accomplish everything you set out to do. You submitted a game for the jam and I think that alone is a hell of an accomplishment! I quite enjoyed the cookie clicker upgrade aspect to the game where you get more powerful as you play. Great job for your first game jam, I took time out of my day to play it and I think it was time well spent.

Great physics hitboxes on the laser. I love how it would be cut short if there was an object in the way!

For a first game this is very cool and something to be proud of! The theme really wasn't reflected in the game (pun intended), but overall it was a nice experience that kept me invested for 10-15 minutes. Loved being able to buy power ups. The resources wasn't really clear to me, like what do the numbers in the parentheses mean.

Also I had a weird problem were the full screen button didn't work. Not sure if it's on my end or not.

Thanks!

Yeah, even if I had more time to add reflection related things the theme wasn't very present in this one. The parentheses are supposed to be resource generation / second. I guess I forgot the "/ second" in a refactor. 😅 I'm not sure what's with the full screen, for me it causes the game to freeze for a second or until I click on it or entering/exiting full screen again.
