Very creative idea! Music, SFX and visuals are great!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing my game :)

Cool game, a bit confusing at first, but really cool idea with a lot of potential for a bit more polish!

Developer

Yeah you're right with polish,  I didn't have much time on Wednesday to properly polish it. Thank you for playing :)

Reminded of a fun childhood game called Age of War. which is a really cool concept for a jam, and a kind of game that I felt really good while playing! I felt a little confused at first, and maybe with a little more work this could have some cool potential!

Developer

Yeah I have to work to be more first play friendly. Most of the features aren't properly explained :(

This is a very cool concept, but the game design can definitely be improved, I was confused until I realised there's a day/night cycle, you send units in die, fight the mirrored versions at night.

The music was a good cue to what was happening but I think it could have been better indicated that there is the day/night cycle where you send units in the day and fight mirrored units at night.

Another thing is there's no feedback for hitting enemies, either a flash and SFX when you hit, or simply just a health bar that just shows up to show you're actually damaging. I got so stressed out rapidly clicking the enemies because I had no idea how much health they had and how many hits it would take to kill them.

Some bugs I encountered:

  • the sun/moon are rendered on top of the mountains?.
  • you can lock yourself by using all money on upgrades instead of sending units, as there is no way to passively earn money, I got stuck like this.

Thank you for or nice constructive comment, that is help me very much and I will focused on it in the next updates.

Also you can click on castle and get one gold per click with 0.5 sec cooldown.

The game is fun and i enjoyed it, although it is quite confusing at first what to do, until i read the comment where i'm supposed to click on the enemies. Great Work!

Developer

thank you for playing my game :) I wanted to make a proper tutorial, but didn't have time :(

I enjoyed the theme and the music. The speed they ran back at the castle made for some frantic clicking. The enemies should have some health bars so I know how much more to click on them. Overall cool idea!

Developer

Yeah, after few days and uprgrades, peasants are fast as hell :D I want to implement some kind of UI for enemies in next update, I want to continue developing this game. Thank you :))

I love the mechanic of what you send being sent back to you! Great job!
