Jam Judge

An incredibly polished and cohesive experience from start to finish!

The game nails its identity right from the main menu with gameplay, art and music working seamlessly together

Beat synced attacks feel super satisfying and the overall rhythm keeps the energy high throughout

Enemy variety, level theming and visual flair show real care and creativity!

Great job!

nicely done, love the overall look and vibe of the game. the character designs and variety of enemies were really nice to see. small nitpick but I kinda wished u added some screenshots, not a lot of jammers seem to bother with that.

gameplay was polished and juicy, the gameplay matching the music/beat really sold it to me, the amount of content and enemy types was very impressive. I also felt like the game balance was spot on for a jam, hard enough to provide a challenge but easy enough for me to be able to see all the game could offer.

the screen shake amount or duration could be reduced a tad b1t though.

Huge props on the great title menu! Impressive amount of content, and I love how clean the mechanics and gameplay loop are! The levels tying in with the level genre and background visuals felt like the perfect touch. Great job!

Wow, the game looks 100% complete after just a few days. Everything – the movement, the enemies, the borders – feels so alive and full of motion. Just amazing!!

This is freaking awesome. Absolutely love the syncopated beeps that the enemy hits add to the house beat, grooves like hell, also with the enemy deaths as a kind of rhythmic flourish. So polished and tight. This needs to be released as a full game. 5 stars.

Wow, what a vibe! Love the visual juice. The dynamic gameplay sounds on the beat are amazing. Impressive amount of content for a week’s work. Breakbeats and Centipedes <3

a very impressive game XD

I really like the play of SFX that match with the BGM

and even when an unexpected things happened during gameplay, you can still find a way to match it to the rhythm

really impressive XD

I don't know how you did this in a week, but fantastic.

Incredible quality all over the board!

The beat syncing & theme are on point, really nice graphics!

Theres little feedback I can provide myself other than make more levels & turn it into a steam release!

To know all of this was made in 1 week, incredible!

Great entry!

Also how does Quinten score S rank in rythm game, we will never know?

Developer(+1)

Because it's not really a rythm game ;)

I found a glitch where if you leave it running for a while, bullets speed up. I love that everything is sync with the music, even the enemy deaths.

Developer

Interesting, what do you mean by "a while" ? Minutes ? Tens of minutes ? Hours ? Was the game running in the background or was it paused (could you ear the music ?)

I went afk on the "pick an upgrade screen" for about 10 minutes, in the downloaded version. A fun glitch, but it might reveal other potential problems.

Developer

Thanks for reporting that, will try it out
