this cover art looks like something from my game lol
that masterpiece took me hours to perfect.
Could definitely use some improvements but I had fun with this! Nice job
Thanks!!!
it moves too fast to control X"D
but I like the concept of collecting instruments to create the music
Yeah sorry, honestly didnt have time for polish
Only one day? That’s amazing! I think the game is absolutely great, and the idea of finding the music again is fantastic!!!
Thank you so much! sorry for the janky movement.
The palette and visual presentation could work well.
But the movement/controls needs more work to be enjoyable.
Not bad for a 1 day jam i guess, but sorting out the movement should probably have been prioritized before level design. :p
Controller support, velocity, and damping would help a lot.
Man, super tough! Fun idea though, impressive for a day.
Thanks!
You claim its a precision platformer, yet it is still missing features such as jump buffering and coyote time.
still, really good first game!
Satisfying game ! looking at the time you worked at it and I see alot of room for improvements movement and music could easily be fixed overall it was an enjoyable experience.
Works well ! Love that you’re “building up” the music by picking up instruments, it’s engaging. Very nice for a first game
I have a few things to say :
Strangely addicting, pretty fun! The movement speed felt a bit too jerky/fast, with no friction or acceleration it made it easy to die when just trying to move a small amount in a direction. I liked the music coming in bit by bit, I maybe would've made the loop a bit longer because after a while it got annoying. I think the song was at its best just after adding in the bass line, the other guitar I felt distracted from the rest of the instruments. Overall I thought your game was fun, I'd like to see what you could produce if you work the whole 7 days on a project.
Thanks! i wish i had time to make a better character controller but sadly i didn't. Also i didn't realise how annoying the music was because i sort of drowned it out after hearing it about 1000 times. Thanks for the feed back!
