Description
When I saw the picture with its heavy dual color emphasis, I immediately thought of the piano. I made three short songs in FL studio using the live midi input with multiple pianos on each track.

Message from the artist
I imagined the game being the story of somebody searching for freedom in their lifetime, only to find it in their death.

Theme

Freedom
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The Soundtrack uses the same three notes on all three songs, allowing for freedom within the scale and the instrument itself.

Good piano! Beautiful melody, moving like a little snake...

P.S. Rawr!

i'm really fascinated with how you chose to approach composing your tracks musically; they're all very cohesive and yet they manage to stand out from one another with subtle changes in melodic content. ^^ my favorite may be "Death"; i think it's because of lighthearted it sounds despite the track name, which is likely due to the triad of tracks using similar pitch limitations.

i think it'd be cool see how you'd craft distinct lead melodies that try to expand as much as they can within the notes allowed, to properly express the ideas you had in mind!

All of these are very pretty and perfectly use the piano to capture the melancholic but hopeful feelings that you were going for. Personal favourite's gotta be Death, that melody is just amazing. I will say though, while I do think the overall tone of the songs match great with the vibe of the prompts I feel like the reasoning is a bit backwards haha, still, great songs!

In the same boat as several others here - I really dig piano-centric pieces, and these did not disappoint. Life has some really nice melodies and a pleasant chord progression. Serves well as the introductory track, but I personally love the vibes that Death brings. Melodies here seem to work better with one another and there's gorgeous tension at play. Having the first half be a more stripped down version of the tune is really clever, makes the latter half come in a lot harder and adds some aural intrigue.

Freedom is befitting of its title; the melody is longing but has a twinge of hope to it. It's pensive, but not too much. Tension woven into progression but never becoming too overbearing. Some nice use of articulation here to have the dynamics work a little harder.

Solid submission as a whole! These were nice to listen to.

Cool work, keep it up :)

I'm a sucker for multiple piano songs, the overlapping melodies in Death were really lovely.  I do feel the non-live versions could benefit from a little more reverb just to push the emotion felt a bit further, cause the live versions are gorgeous

The videos were a really nice touch.

Nice composition overall, i like how minimal and relaxing it is

Nice work. Very atmospheric and dreamy!

I like your idea of keeping piano only for the theme, and the emotional vibe of the tracks is nice !

I agree with the comment below, maybe some changes of keys could have been nice.

I also noticed in Death that some notes encounters are a bit harsh, but given it's the Death theme it's probably wanted !

Personnal favorite is Freedom, I could not help but think about Nier's OST "Songs of the ancient", I don't know if it was your inspiration on this one :D

Anyway nice musical journey, well done !

The live videos were really cool and I think they sounded even better than the Wav ones.

I do think the idea of having every song basically be in the same key limited you too much however. It didn't really feel free because all the songs sounded very similar rather than free.

Great point! Yes I recorded the live videos first, I wish I had recorded all the songs that way. My production on the recorded tracks is not that good.
