I like how cold a lot of the synths feel, especially with Fresh Ground where it felt spacious but also fairly happy. I think experimenting with adding a melody line could help give it a bit more direction, but otherwise the vibes were chill and it was a fun listen. Good work!

Cool air is definitely a very fun track with a nice bass ! The first one has nice "aerial" synths which sound quite wholesome to me. I'm not sure the music matches a lot the picture, but the OST was fun and entertaining ! good job !

"Fresh ground" hooked me right away, i always love hearing soft synths sat into the mix like that. conceptually, i love what you were going for with each track!! :~)

as loops, these would work well in a videogame context! i'd love to see how you experiment with adding some drastic chord progressions also! "cool air" gets a similar treatment when the sawtooth chords come in occasionally, which adds a change in energy and is overall a nice addition.

sounds good, I like the shaker in the first tune :) Try changing your material up a little bit more each time it repeats, a little bit could go a long way. Good work :)

Nice work! Liked the sounds, and the blend of sounds!

Really like the choice of synth patches at the beginning of the first track. The sublte percussion coming in to support it as the melody comes in is well done. Loosely reminds me of something I might hear in an oldschool Donkey Kong game - laden with chill vibes and so easy to just sit back and listen to.

The second track feels like more of a departure into a different genre and soundscape. Nice solid sounding saw voicings here, and some very moody ambience thanks to the use of volume and cut-off automation.  The main refrains are nice and catchy. Drums are a little more straight-forward in this but do what they need to in order to keep the track pushing forward.

Solid work - best of luck!

Air... Lots of air...

Fresh Ground - Good rhythm, lightness and brightness of sound! But too much reverb and resonance spoils the experience a bit (To be fair, I have very big problems with mixing myself, huh)

Cool Air - DRUMS! Hurray! Synthesizers? HOORAY!!! I really like some of the thoughtfully cheerful beginning and the ABRUPT transition to the synthesizer! Cool!

Overall, I liked it. You've done something fun, airy, and positive. Yes, there are some problems with mixing, but I have problems with it myself... Good work!

I like the minimalistic approach you chose here. There's just a couple of instruments, but they fill out the soundscape very well. And the relaxed vibe of the tracks is great! I could see them playing in a cozy game like Stardew Valley.

In the first track you have these  synth keys with a lot of reverb/delay on top. They sound great, but  I think the reverb tail creates a lot of resonance that I would personally try to tame with EQ/compression, or just via the dry/wet knob. Otherwise, the mix can clip pretty severely.

Only saying this because I struggle with excessive resonances myself in some of my ambient mixes (especially the horror ones). Mixing in general can be pretty tough, at least for me.

Awesome work, you did great!

I love the tempo automation for the first bit of Fresh ground, and I like the kinda wii sounding synths. I also like how you were able to convey a lot with the really chill mix of the keyboard and the synth. There was a bit of popping in the first few seconds though. cool air was really good. The percussion was also really nice for that track. Great work !!

Cool air was a fun listen, very energetic!

Adding some more melodic/harmonic development would take these two tracks to the next level.

Good work!

I think sometimes the mix peaked making some weird artifacts present.

I liked the instruments you chose. gave it a spacey but not boring vibe.

an extra section in the first song allowing the drums to play more regularly would have been a great addition.

Thanks for the feedback, I made everything besides the drums myself! I'll take the mix and drum tips into consideration in future songs.

Not gonna lie, I got surprised by the youtube intro lol.

I think some more work on the composition would have been nice, but in such a short timeframe you did good!

It was also refreshing to have something that's not somber, so kudos for that!

Thank you, the cheery demeanor was what I was going for, so it us much appreciated you like it.
