Description
Tapped inside your own mind. Fight your personal hell.

A game about facing oneself in a ever-decaying mind.

You don't remember how many time you've fallen. Countless twisted figures appearing out of the darkness surrounding you, mocking your feeble struggle against this eternal suffering.

Track 2 - My distorted self (Battle theme)

The master of this prison, the vermin that's been devouring your soul. The being who's you, but not you. Slay it, and take control again.

EYES. EYES. EYES. EYES. EYES. EYES.

My distorted self - Rhythm? Melody? Funk drum? Wow! Inspiring cheerful melody and DRUMS

Endless struggle - Okay... now that was creepy... And original! I love the mix of bitcrush and bells :>

Good job!

P.S. rawr!

The instrumentation is great for what it's going for, as the piano/music box/acoustic breakbeat all lend themselves very well to the creepy atmosphere. Those screechy textures in "Endless struggle" are really great and gave the track some good spaciousness. Overall liked the mood a lot, cool stuff!

Found that synth when messing around and feel an immediate urge to use it lol. Thank you for commenting!

that percussion on "My distorted self" is WILD... i'm a big fan of the tempo change around 0:25 to really hammer in the intensity of the following sections. nicely done!

your two tracks overall have a somewhat experimental vibe, which i might attribute to the chromatic nature of the melodies and dark ambience used... i can imagine some sort of 3D active-battle action game to this, with some sort of cutscene occurring as you battle. :0

I am quite proud of that precession too haha. Thank you for the comment!

Cool vibes in this for sure - wasn't quite sure what to expect when I saw the artwork. Choice of patches throughout is really nice, and compositionally they all fit together really well. Fantastic use of dynamics throughout too. Endless Struggle having some sort of loose bit-crushing throughout to add some grit and general unease was a great idea. Has this uncertain kind of lullaby vibe to it that really ties into the title of the track well. Very nice use of stereo-space in this!

All in all, solid work! Nice use of modulations throughout and the piece never really borders on being too oppressive but never gives the listener an opportunity to be "comfortable", if that makes sense. This made for a fun listen - best of luck!

You gotta give me more than "Prison break or something" for theme!

That aside, I really liked the percussion in the second track. and the way you messed with the tempo was unique and kept my attention well!

I got lazy at introduction lol. Thank you for the feedback!
