Description
I was thinking of something similar to balatro and I tried to switch genres a couple of times in the song (jazz, bossa nova, rock). I started off with the chord progression and made a main melody which I adapted to the other genres. I mainly use FL studio btw. (The name means freedom in German)

Theme

Freedom
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The use of a major scale with small resolved tensions I feel well represents the feeling of receiving freedom at long last.

Really good feels on this one! Great work!

My favorite part is the bossa nova section, and how it transitions into the more rock heavy part. The chord progression is really satisfying, and the little notes the piano plays throughout sell it nicely.

I also like the ending. With how the chords progress, it feels really open ended, no clear resolution, which fits nicely into the whole theme of freedom.

I would have maybe worked a bit more on mixing. The drums were a bit loud to me and overshadowed other instruments.

:]

It's a beautiful melody. But I think the cymbals draw a little too much attention to themselves in the first piece :<

But still - nice melody, the guitar part.... nice!

The chord progression is very nice, and I liked the synth choices here! There is a little bit of clipping throughout the track, make sure to give your mix some headroom. Good work!

I really like the groove and the main melody, it's jazzy and funky but with the same almost sad undertones that I'm getting from the image. I think the instrument choices are all great, just gotta adjust some volumes on the guitar and velocities on the hihat to make them all play together a bit better. Overall quite the lovely song :)

Really really liked this, I think the rock guitar is maybe a bit too loud and drowned out the beat you had going, but the rest was really boppy and catchy!

the instrumental evolution throughout the arrangement is lovely — i really adore at 1:35 the lower-pitched distorted guitar with the syncopated melody; can't get enough of syncopation and ostinato (adjacent enough, at least) after all! :3c

some of the melodic lines remind me of certain videogames that i've enjoyed!! i just can't name them off the top of my head right now unfortunately orz

the composition here reminded me of steven universe's opening a little for some reason, nice!

Awesome sunday chilling vibe ! I think the hihats and the guitar were a bit too loud, maybe a bit more mixing would put this track to higher grounds :) good job !

Really like the composition and instrumentation... gives lazy afternoon vibes. However, the piano solo starting around the minute mark gets drowned out by the drums. Also felt the lead guitar could've been brought down a little. All in all an enjoyable song, just watch the volume levels.

Really lovely track, builds nicely! Keep up the good work!

This made for a fun listen! I can definitely hear some of the Balatro influence in the first half of the track in particular. It takes some unexpected but welcome turns as it progresses thereafter. Others have mentioned the mixing when the guitar comes in, but beyond that it is solid. Good work, and best of luck.

The use of a major scale with small resolved tensions is the kind of composition matching the theme I love to see so thank you for saying it! It really does improve my listening experience to know what went through the composers mind as they composed.

Some criticisms, I think the hat was too loud as was the guitar. Balancing those volumes a tad would help a lot as they overpowered everything else by a far margin.

Gute Arbeit! I'm a sucker for piano so that did a good job of pulling me in. I think overall the piece was well done but the voices could have been balanced a bit more - it felt like everything sort of melded together.
