Pidgeon... Here we meet... again...
I like the fact that this composition makes me imagine myself walking through the square, with pigeons sitting around me and looking at me with the MAXIMUM judgmental look...
Good job!

I think you could elaborate a bit more on the percussion in this since its pretty much just snares doubling the bass pulse. I feel that having more variety/interest in the percussion could help make it feel more alive and less stagnant, like having the timpani play some fills/accents at parts, and maybe sometime have the snares play something more rhythmic to bring contrast to the bass pulse.
But still as a whole, great. Good job!
I like how the piece develops while saying grounded in the main idea ostinato. It creates some nice tension and I can see how it would keep the player on their toes the whole time.
One thing that bugs me though, are the long notes on flute at around 1:50~2:20.
It's not that much of an issue on the bassoon because of the register (I guess), but on the flute in wears out my ears a bit too much. Some breathing space would be nice.
But it's a great composition anyway!
love the idea of the song progressing as the player does, like a dynamic OST. Very cool idea there.
nice climax at the end, good shtuff
This sounds a lot like a stealthy sort of escape, the staccato strings and the suspended bassline do a great job of giving it a persistently tense but quiet feel. The light, airy melodies on top with the winds and such added to the sneakiness overall, and the brass coming in at the end was a great way to up the intensity and keep it moving. Overall, really solid stuff and I'd love to hear more from this hypothetical game. :)
beautiful orchestration! i love the steady driving melodies with evolving instrumentation as the track continues. the track is indeed light without too much layering, but that can leave good potential for busy soundscapes and voice-acting, depending on the game genre. ^-^
i might even imagine this used in a television show or movie! the cinematic feel of the track really shines through, and the written melodic content really works toward the jam theme!!
I enjoyed your interpretation of the theme in the music. Having a piece that can dynamically evolve as one gets closer to escaping is a great way to bring the theme into the composition itself!
Nice orchestral piece! I like the foresight to keep fairly seamless looping is mind as well. Well executed as a whole - each section of the orchestra gets an opportunity to shine and provide some nice textures. The crescendo toward the end of the third track is great; feels infinite in how much it swells before abruptly cutting out with some percussion. Good work!
