Description
The Story:
In a fractured realm where the skies once roared with the flight of dragons, Valrik stands as the last descendant of the Drakesworn—a dwindled lineage capable of forging an unbreakable bond with dragons. Years of tyrannical rule under an invading empire have left his homeland, Veyrn, suffocated by chains.
When whispers of an untamed dragon—the mythical Skyshard—surface from the forgotten peaks of Ashenspire, Valrik sees a glimmer of hope. However, taming this beast is no simple task; Skyshard is said to be bound to the untamed storms, embodying raw chaos and wrath.
Guided by his people's dying legends and an ancient song only the Drakesworn can hear, Valrik embarks on a perilous journey. Along the way, he encounters a rebel outcast seeking vengeance, a scholar guarding the last relic of dragon lore, and a mysterious figure whose allegiance shifts like the wind.
Skyshard's power might liberate Veyrn, but its freedom poses an equally grave risk—unleashing unchecked destruction. To succeed, Valrik must rekindle the lost courage of his ancestors, confront haunting truths about the Drakesworn’s decline, and grapple with the ultimate question: Is true freedom ever without sacrifice?

My thoughtprocess:
Imagine the times of the NES, asking for money for your birthday, so you could get that game with the cool box art with the He-Man clone. You finally pop that game in, and you're swept away to this fantasy realm which will become your universe, for at least a couple of weeks xD.
I just tried to write an epic action adventure soundtrack, with the theme of the jam in mind, freedom, and it's price.
Hope you enjoy my track! Thanks so much for listening!
Theme

How does it fit the theme?
I've written a short story premise about the subject, as you can see above (or below?)
