This is the one entry which has made me feel true despair. Watching the box do an unexpected bounce or slip out of my hands at the worst of moments shook me to the depths of my soul. Loved your entry, it's really well done and it's pretty as hell, great juxtopasition with the music too.

This game made me sad. Was expecting a platformer, got a box delivery hell :) Well executed idea of a rage game. The calm music adds insult to injury. The artwork is gorgeus, the in-game graphics is well done too. Congratulations on your entry :)

I have no idea if that was the intention, but I'm going to assume this is one of those rage games like "Getting Over It" which I just don't get. This is mostly because there were two moments where I almost rage quit because the box slipped out of my hands at the worst possible moment. The box related mechanics were infuriating and definitely made me feel a lot of things - things I would rather not feel - but I'm assuming that is not a bug, but a feature.

Good job on the artwork, and the calm music is both a nice fit to the art-style as well as a nice contrast to the sheer despair that hits whenever the package rolls the wrong way.

The artwork is the major selling point of this. The Pixel Artist did wonders for this production.

However, Theme and Accessibility are major weaknesses of this production. When considering the theme, it feels that there was no influence at all by the theme and that how it might tie in was merely a weak afterthought. In terms of Accessibility, while it is valid to put controls into the Game Page, Manual Reload was not amongst them, so I could only intuit that there were other controls besides these. It was the first thing I looked for when approaching the solution to level 3.

The solution to level 3 was a trick in the control scheme: jump from and pick up the package at close to the same time to get the jump height you need while still being able to pick up the package. From there, apply controls normally. You may consider it valid to have this trick in the game, it should not be a requirement for basic completion. When trying to speedrun a level, though, I'm all for it. Discovering tricks like that is what makes speedrunning fun.

very cute art and animations, i like them a lot. I managed to deliver in 2 levels but didnt figure out the third one.

I hope the package was insured :D

Fun game.

Beautiful art! Adorable and challenging game.

This game was made to torture me. It comes at me saying “Don’t worry, friend, I’m a pleasant, charming little platformer for you to enjoy”, then proceeds to shiz all over my decades of gamer experience… all with a single… box. OH! And that cat/dog thing can burn in the fires of digital hell too!

Honestly, though… great idea for a game here! Comes at you looking all simple, but then… nope! Challenging as hell! Deceptively challenging. The kind of challenging one says “I cannot let this beat me” and keeps playing.

The graphics were very well done, and the audio/music worked really well. I think my one real criticism would be the cat/dog thing. This is not to say the game shouldn’t have any complications/enemies, but getting soft locked by the combination of the animal sitting on my head, followed by a platform landing on top of me, with no automatic end-game state did not feel right.

Beyond that, excellent game! For your enjoyment, here’s a link to my stream of your game!

Very cute and aesthetic platformer. Had a great time playing it on stream, and definitely needed a little bit of coaching. Great game!

If the game wasn't so cute and beautiful I would have 100% punched a hole through my screen trying to move these packages around. 10/10

the artwork is what really shines in game i also enjoyed the game play but the box is a litte floaty  but still liked it

The artwork is fantastic. The opening splash is what brought me here for sure. I like the background and parallax effect. The music is charming and relaxing.

What I struggled with was the controls. Could you have made the "throwing the box in the air" a little shorter so it could be caught in less time? In general, I wanted the putting the box on your head feeling to be snappier and more responsive. When I was moving, it kept falling off my head. If that was your attempt at portraying "controlled chaos," I get it, but it made for frustrating controls. I wonder if you could eventually have built in a telegraph for how far the character would throw the box. It might have made the puzzles too easy, and I felt like I already had a good sense of how far it would go, but the few times I missed and had to struggle back to the throwing point were more frustrating than fun.

Overall, I like what you've put together and love to see new mechanics in a 2D platformer world.

Beautiful game and hilariously hard. I burst out laughing when I finally got through the platform of level 2, only to be attacked by a crazy cat and see my package fall down the hole again. Awesome job!

And a little bonus clouds initial concept art for you all :D

Fun. I love the art. I think the parallax might be moving a little too much. It was hurting my head a bit. But super cute and fun game.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! It used to be worse in the initial concept art I did, but we know better and toned down the clouds a little!

I'll do better next time with tuning the parallaxes ><

The art is awesome. Took me 5 minutes to finished level one and grasp the controls, then the next level i ain't better than before on level one XD really fun and challenging.

Really fun game. I love the art style it looks great, kinda reminds me of celeste a bit. The gameplay is fun and the crazy box physics really add to the chaos. Great work!
