Amazing job, I especially love the artwork and music because it felt so immersive.

Awsome work! The artwork is very nice and the controls felt very smooth.

First of all, I dont usually play platformers.

But the art and music were solid and clean. My biggest concern was that when attacking you could not turn around and attack the other way(you must first turn, wait the animation to end and then you can attack other way, but you cannot turn when spamming attacks). Also UI with health would be helpful.

Thank you for playing on stream! (Followed and subscribed!)
Good job, nice entry, keep up the good work!

Developer

Ya the innability to turn when spamming attacks is something I regret not noticing until seeing people play the game. It was my first time adding input buffering and I didn't think about the fact that you'd get locked in a certain direction. I appreciate the feedback and thanks for checking out the game!

I am not a big fan of platformers, they are usually too nervewracking for me, but this one is fun! I wish it told me how many times I died, but still good job!

Really cool action game! Reminds me of Hollow Knight or The Messenger maybe, that's really cool. Could be good to know how much hp you have and the first attempt at the boss fight, boss clipped inside the ceiling hahah

Had a great time with the boss fight and everything felt like just the right challenge level. I would have liked a health bar, but that might just be me. Great job!

Very cool art work! Did you use Asesprite? I haven't tried that yet. The game had a great, polished feel to it- the controls were very smooth! Awesome job!

Developer

Yep I use aseprite for all my pixel art. I'd definitely recommend it, it's my fav pixel art program that I've used.

Great game. I loved the level design and art. I watched ppl playing it so I knew what to do and didn't try to kill every enemy. The boss was pretty challenging and the attack pattern pretty cool, making it satisfying to dodge and atk

The music and the art is really good it is very fun to play and hard to put down, had a total blast playing the game!

Good game overall.

The art is really good, having multiple characters and some animation coupled with background and tilemaps is a lot of work!

Controlwise I think the character controler can be a little bit smoother especially in the air.

Really enjoyed the vibe and the art, the charging enemies wrecked me consistently though haha.

Love the colors and the artwork!

Good platformer. We really liked the art.

Pretty fun little challenge, boss took me a few tries. I will say it didn't fit the theme for me. Nothing about the game itself felt chaotic, just the backstory. But I did enjoy it!

I'm not usually a big fan of platformers, but the boss fight was both fun and challenging. it took me around 15 tries to beat him! I really liked your artwork, and the main character reminded me of the protagonist from Loom. I managed to save the forest from the chaos it was controlled by :D

So most of that was pretty good, but (despite the theme having the word chaos in it) I have to say that entirely random movement and attack selection coupled with melee only player attacks and contact damage makes for a pretty frustrating bossfight. I got there in the end, but it was luck, not skill. Other than that it was pretty, and also pretty good (though my opinion might be a bit skewed by the fact I figured I could just pacifist run though pretty early on - not sure that was intended?)

Oh, and I very much appreciate the less-than-immediately-lethal spikes.

Awesome artwork and overall vibe!
I sucked at the wall jumping but the game was fun. Love the whip and idle animation.

Great job!

Great work. Overall the only things that were "bad" were that the boss felt a bit tanky and that the bird projectilles could go through walls, but still you did a great job!

The level with multiple charging enemies and birds got a little frustrating when combined with the jumping sequence right after. Still tho, loved the vibe, attacking enemies felt pretty good, so did the wall jump. Great job overall!
