Lot of fun promise here! Would love to play the polished version after the jam is over!

Thanks for your comment!

So relatable! I gave it multiple restarts to give it a good attempt, as I am no stranger to buggy play throughs. Would be keen to play if you continue making the game.

Thanks for the feedback! Will update a new version after jam voting ends with several fixes!

Interesting concept, keep up the nice work! I totally relate to unpolishedness and issues in the submitted version. I think you have created a good foundation for a great game! Many aspects of the gameplay feel great, and the level is interesting. Good interpretation of the theme, I had this one on my list of candidates, too. :-)

PS: high 5 for using UE!

Thanks a lot for your comments and feedback!

Thanks everyone for the comments, there were some known issues and some new. Sadlly, due of the lack of time I was not able to upload a "polished version" as I liked, but will update with fixes!

This had a lot of issues, but I gotta say if you added some features and fixed the bugs, this could be a really really fun game!

Problems:

I had a bug where I could move after I died so I had to restart the game completely.

Picking up the limited ammo was annoying as I had to wait a while for it to respawn.

The aiming was off for me. I would have the crosshairs right on the bad guy and would miss so I would have to adjust it and "miss" intentionally to hit them.

Suggestions:

I think a rolling mechanic for the player would be perfect and so fun for this type of game.

Picking up ammo is good, but I would add a reload mechanic as well, where if you run out of bullets you have to reload each bullet one by one, which takes time and puts pressure on you while you're reloading. I'd have more ammo present and make sure enemies drop loot.

Adding upgrades like ammo capacity, damage, accuracy, fire speed would be great.

Adding more types of enemies

Awesome work! I see a future for this game if you keep at it!

It's a good start, not quite there yet though. It's an interesting concept but needs polishing. Good job though!

Thanks for the feedback!

Very rough. Exchanging coins for bullets is a good idea, but the sound effects and level are, as previously stated...very rough. Keep at it ;)

There's a lot of potential here. Add in rolling, cover, and more ammo and you could have a great shootout game. Thanks for making.

Developer

Thanks for testing and the feedback with ideas! I like them!!! Will try to implement them!

Love the style of the game.. I just couldn't figure out how to reload after I ran out of bullets. Aiming was a little difficult as well. Really like your concept though. Good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot for testing! You can reload picking up weapons in the floor or spending coins on the saloon (the big structures in the map). Also you can pick up ammo for the dead enemies. I'm planning in adding a minimap that shows where the saloon is, where the pickeables are and the current enemies, and also improve the aiming

Unfortunately there were a handful of bugs that I think kept me from truly experiencing what the game had to offer, I do see where you were going with it and I like the idea. With some more work I think this can be a truly fun experience! Good job so far!

First of all, thanks a lot for plaiying and the feedback!. Yes, there are a couple of known bugs that I've not been able to solve cause I run out of time, but maybe I will fix them an update the game later!
