Game Description
A little puzzle game putting shapes into boxes

How does your game tie into the theme?
Shapes are physics based and chaotically bounce around the level, you must control them by drawing paths to get them to the right place!

So far my personal favorite of the jam. The most pure fun, the most up my alley. If there were more levels and a clearer risk/reward for using more ink/lines this is a game I'd easily snag on Steam. You should be proud!

This feels super polished to me! Love the way that the lines have varied line-weights and how the backgrounds adds to the 'drawing' feel. You also really effectively communicated how to play the game even without words! Great job with this :D

Great take on this concept. We had a blast playing this one and working our way through the puzzle. The whole game top to bottom felt very polished and well thought out.

The graphics are amazing,  the physics are solid.  the levels get crazy complicated.

OMG! This is my favourite game of this jam! I don't want to stop playing.

And in the final level, I discovered the eye, that will show where all the shapes were the previous round ... amazing!

Well done, works sooooo wonderfully. Reminded me of the Line Rider game ... but with shapes.

Superb submission!!!

( edit: will go back and replay the levels some more now )

Loved all of the puzzles! They made me go back and get 3 stars in all of them. Nice take on the theme!

Really great take on a loved genre of puzzle game. The show don’t tell wildcard worked really well here, too. The result felt polished and complete.

A very well implemented game! Everything feels smooth and predictable, so it's satisfying to play it. The drawing sound effect is also on spot. Well done!

This is a really cool idea.  It makes me wonder how you got the player drawing -> physics body going.  Nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

I used a static body on a Line2D (the visual line the player draws), and then for each point in the line drawn I use a SegmentShape2D for the collision shape

Nice work! The sound effects are quite satisfying. I really enjoyed playing this!

Really fun! My girlfriend and I were taking turns trying to get lower ink scores. Reminds me of CoolMathGames.

Clever puzzle game, reminded me of playing The Incredible Machine as a kid. Graphical effects are nice and clean, sound effects crisp and not obtrusive. My only concern is that sometimes I had a win that wouldn't register even though I got all the shapes in the boxes.

Thank you :)

I noticed the same problem occasionally when play testing it, but sadly I didn't have the time to fix it

I liked the preview thing,, ,but idk how much ink i have to save if i go for 3 stars. i had fun

Developer

Thanks for playing!
Maybe I should add stars on the "ink meter" to show the different star targets
