I was curious played for sometime and then gave up. I would like a video with the run through just so i know where i went wrong! I liked the visuals. Good job!

So, the game turns out to be bugged in a section. It's still beatable, just not in the way I initially designed it. I mean ... it's a world without logic after all.
I don't know how I overlooked this before submission. My apologies for the time spent.

Well I was plugging along and then realized that if you "start the birthday party" multiple times the audio will stack and oh boy that was awful.

Did I win?

Developer

Well, that's... an unintended bit of illogical behavior. Really sorry about that. I haven't personally experienced that, but to be honest, I didn't spend a ton of time testing every interactions ...

Running around and figuring things out is fun. I never got him the TP but i got very close. Some things would clip through the walls like books, key and cup for me.  After destroying the statue it left its collider i believe because that spot was blocked and some wonky character movement started happening. The second time I picked up the paper plane I lost forward control and could only move backwards. Some of this may be intentional per the title. I think overall its a good game though and has room for improvements. I probably played it longer than the other submissions so far.
Had fun!

Yeah, a lot of things are still unfinished, and I totally forgot to fix the dropping object thing. But hey, it's my first game ever, and my first game jam, done in less than a week and I'm not even a developer, so your comment really means a lot. It honestly makes me so happy to see people spending time trying to figure it out, as illogical and stupid as it can be.

Definitely a game without logic however much of the stuff to do  is bugged. You lose items all over and requires hard restarts. Needing a lot of polish.

The bookcase is bugged, so its difficult to proceed. :/

Developer(+1)

Poorly developed and unexplained, but it kinda works as intended.

Small spoiler... this is for a feature I haven't finished implementing, and it's completely unnecessary to beat the game.
But yeah, I probably should have removed this dumb thing

I guess you succeeded because I could not find any logic to the game XD. Was kind of lost, but nice interactions.

Developer

I was worried it wasn't illogical enough, so I'm glad to hear you're struggling. Only the chosen (or maybe the deranged like me, or just me probably) will beat this.

Can confirm, world is without logic... or maybe I am. Either way, I shall never escape. Thanks for making.
