That's one of the most polished submissions I've played so far. I liked that it was straightforward, without any significant flaws despite being a jam game, and even was challenging at certain parts where I saw others asking for help on the jam channel and had to ask for advice myself. Well done, keep it up!
Very cool game! Really dug the 2d/3d aspects of it. The chase at the end was INTENSE! Well done!
Great game. Excellent polish. I didn't encounter any bugs or jarring design decisions.
My only note is that I played the whole thing and aside from the one shoehorned in line "this is a world without laws" I didn't really see how it tied into the theme. It wasn't until after I finished playing when I double checked the game page and read the line about the AI overriding the 3 laws of robotics that I understood the theme. I feel like mentioning that somewhere in the game's intro would have made the theme a lot clearer.
Lovely game. Good narrative and sound design. Solid gameplay.
You're absolutely right, that's my main problem, I completely failed to convey the theme. I tried to be subtle, in the room with the floating platform, there's a fallen monitor that shows part of the theme. In my attempt to avoid spoiling the ending and to be subtle, I ended up failing to clearly present the theme within the game. Thanks for your feedback!
Wow, this is just amazing. I am blown away. So many cool features packed into one jam game, and it looks and feels very polished, too. Congratulations!
Wow thats a polished entry! I really liked the overall presentation and juice! Especially appreciated the screenshake on the robot steps! ;)
Also liked the ending! :D
I loved the cinematic feel of the game, especially the ending. Controls felt a little sluggish however. Great use of the theme. Thanks for making.
Hi, thanks for playing and for your feedback, it really helps me know where I need to improve.
Great visuals and cutscenes. This is a good starting point for a full game. Good job!
Hi! Thanks for your feedback. I really enjoyed your game, it almost feels like a complete game.
For your first 3d game you did an incredible amount of work. Good job!
Hi, thanks for playing!
Honestly, I enjoyed the 3D workflow more than 2D haha, I think I’ll start working on more 3D projects.
Really well done! This one is probably my favorite so far. I love the visuals and there was a great blend of well polished, had a story, interesting and varied levels. The biggest problem for me was the character controller could just just a LITTLE refinement, as it felt a little clunky, especially in between animations. Also adding a pushing animation when pushing boxes and stuff would be a nice addition!
It was my first 3D project and first game jam, I have a lot to learn. Thank you so much for your feedback!
for many people (in my limited experience) the hardest part about jams is not planning the scope correctly. Yours was perfect so for your first one that’s amazing
Great job, I definitely enjoyed playing through this one. I like that it was a complete slice of a game perfect for the jam!
Well rounded, the controls are a little twitchy, especially jumping and rolling. All in all it is a nice proof-of-concept and would be very fitting as a tutorial level for a longer game experience.
Hi, thanks for playing and for your feedback, it really helps me know where I need to improve. Since it’s my first 3D game, the controls and animations were a bit tricky for me and they’re not as smooth as I’d like.
