Great game I had a lot of fun. I managed to get a chain reaction that killed everyone instantly!

One of my favorite games of the jam, this is so extremely well done. At its core, the gameplay is really fun and very replayable with all the extra features/challenges. The art is really cool, I love the style. I had an OP playthrough with a sweet build and it felt very satisfying. Great job!

INCREDIBLE level of polish and juice on this

I cannot believe I almost didn’t try it but I decided to play a bit more befroe voting ends and I found probably the most fun game of the jam. AMAZING work, gj. PS the game reminds me of a game called Slice and Dice, you might like it!

Very nice polish and concept. Good sounds and music that accompanied nicely. Thanks for submitting!

Awesome game! Loved the audio and the polish/juice, I spent an hour playing it because i got a setup that healed me infinitely, I had a lot of fun!

Had a fun time playing after figuring out the mechanics, game was very polished and well done for the time!

Very polished game. Loved the take on similar mechanics and found it very intuitive once you got a hold of it. Great job!

This is my kind of game! It's so fun! It reminded me of the challenge with games like Monster Train with the RNG. Great looking and sounding game that's also super fun!

This might be my favorite game of the jam so far, so addicting and so well polished! Hats off! I found a really fun exploit where my damaging items kept triggering on a loop without allowing enemies to act and that helped me beat the game, so much fun! (although I guess that could be considered for potential balancing issues, but imo that actually adds to the fun of a game like this, and it's more chaotic so win-win)

Really fun game! I broke it pretty quickly with this build. Health regen + damage. I've played a lot of slay the spire and magic, so this kind of synergy clicked with me pretty quick. I love the core mechanic and I think it was really fun to break the game and do something really OP really quickly. I think with more difficulty scaling this would be even more fun! I reached single turn win within like 12 levels. Great game!

Great way to tackle the theme!  I appreciated the arrow effects and I loved the core gameplay loop--this would be fun with a procgen dungeon and some findable story elements/side quests!

I tried to leave a very tiny bit of storytelling with the final boss. I hope at least someone hasn't instantly vaporized them before reading their name or looking at their sprite :')

I made it to the end! I love those kinds of rogue-likes anyway so you had me from the get go. If you want to develop this further you need to check the balancing. Maybe you're already aware that the player character is way overpowered very soon. The last 10 or so levels I had to only roll once or twice to trigger a chain reaction that killed everybody and made me basically invincible. (see image). I was still satisfying because of the nice sound effects and arrows but it wasn't a real challenge.

edit: I played with full randomness, btw.

Great game and great pixel art!

Nice game! Your pixel-art is very gorgeous, I'm all envy :D

The game is definitely chaotic :D I totally loved that all items re-rolled themselves each battle, but in one run, I had no item and died on level 6, while another run I had 4 items in a row in the beginning :D

Also found a bag: if an item has the same property as the trigger, and the trigger has a lower value, it gets into an infinite loop. Like my apple said that it heals 4 health for every 3 healed... :D My all-too-succesfull round ended in game reset :(

Oh don't worry, that's a feature. If you played with the random items modifier, then it is very possible to get infinite combos like that. You can spam "halt items" on the bottom-right corner to stop infinite loops, no need to restart the run (most of the times).

Oh, wow! :D That's actually quite fun and original :D
