Super fun game! Short and so, so sweet. Really enjoyed puzzling my way through the room. Great job!
Thank you so much for the positive comment! I'm happy you enjoyed it!
Very short, but very well done.
I had to restart a couple times because I kept thinking that I had to grab the suitcase and move it somewhere as a platform and then could never let go of it. Other than that I had no issues and really enjoyed it.
Yeah, the game could use a few more hours of polish and some bug fixes, but I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
Congratulations, great work! Definitely worth expanding at some point, because it is satisfying to solve the puzzles, and when it's over I wanted more of it. I agree with the others who liked the atmosphere - awesome what you did with decorations, lights, particles, camera settings, music and sound. Also nice that you took the time to make such a nice controls overview and provided a Web build in addition to the download.
Thanks for the awesome feedback! I'm happy I was able to put together a simple puzzle for the jam. I wanted to focus on graphics and atmosphere, since I'm always buried in code, so it means a lot to hear such positive comments about how it look and feels!
Thanks for playing it!
Really great game! Simple and had fun. I'm not so sure if the A World Without Sanity fit as the theme of this game in regards to what I played however, only real thing I could critique. Which says a lot! Nice job!
That theme was a tough one, and I gave it my all o make it work. Though I know I wasn’t the only one who found it hard to implement. A lot of people ran into the same issue. I’ve even seen a few that didn’t quite fit, but I totally get the struggle, and can look past it.
Thanks so much for giving it a shot!
Nice. Good atmosphere.
I did sequence break the game though the first time I played, as I grabbed the suitcase before it had closed and was able to just push it and myself through the locked door ;)
Hahaha, yeah, I was testing different ways to platform to the table and I forgot to give it a rigidbody 😅
Little nightmares vibe. Robot movement was nice, just a bit awkward with the camera not focusing on the player. Nice little test scene. Good job!
Cute little robot. But sadly I couldn't get it to work right. The first try I couldn't activate the switch to open the door, and the second time the robot wouldn't let go of the box. But I thought it looked good and had a creepy vibe with the adorable robot moving around.
Yeah, the game needed a little more polish, but thank you so much for trying it!
Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed checking out the game. Thanks for making it.
Thank you for playing it!
I had a hard time solving the puzzle. At first I tried the door, then the switch, then the electrical box. Eventually I went back to the switch but the initial problem was I guess I wasn't close enough. The distance you had to be didn't seem very forgiving.
That said everything else looked awesome and played awesome and super smooth. I'd definitely play a full game like this with refined puzzles.
Ah, the distance! I tried to play with it a lot, but couldn't get it right. At one point you could just jump and interact with the power box in mid air 😅.
Thank you so much for the feedback and the kind words!
Very glad to come back to this game to see that you fixed the issue with the box! And added button prompts! I was able to make it through the game and was quite pleased with everything. You did a great job sticking with the theme and with your inspirations. I enjoyed playing the game.
Thanks to your first feedback I was able to fix it and deliver a better game. Thank you so much! 🫶🫶
Very cute, seems to be heavily inspired by Little Nightmares ;)
It is inspired by Little Nightmares! 😁
The box weighs like 10 tons hahaha. It took me about 10 minutes to move it to the switch.
I really liked it. I think we both had a similar inspiration, great job!
Yeah, some weird stuff is happening with the root motion animations and the physics, but I couldn't figure it out. Looks like reloading the game fixes it.
Thank you for playing!
I cant get the box to the switch lol! The atmosphere is fire though!
Playing on controller, pushing the stick all the way makes it so the box doesnt move, but i got it figured out eventually lol
Instruction are unclear I see 😅
You may interact with it first, on a XBOX controller that should be the ( A ) button.
But hey, thank you so much for trying it! ❤️
Unfortunately the issue was that after interacting with the box, it failed to properly slide along the ground with the player. Once I got the box to the switch, it accidentally got flipped over and the player character was then stuck in the interact animation and unable to move. I am going to try it again soon once I finish with mine. If its a bug you can reproduce there is still time to fix it! :)
