Fun game! Really fun story and loved the journey!

Happy you had a good time!

Beautiful and well executed! Awesome use of VFX, and great voice acting, too.

Clever way to motivate people for a second playthrough. In addition, I once had to restart (I think) because I managed to fall from the boat after it left. :-)

I am happy you liked it. The boat goes on a loop , thus if you fall, you can wait for it to come back.

Ah, well done and good to know! Seems I was also in A World Without Patience. 😀

Yeah this was definitely something making me want more! That's a great start and I  think a little bit more depth would have brought a full rating on how well the theme was used and narrative!  Solid score overall and well done! Tornadre hit the points I  found as well!

Thank you for the feedback. I highly appreciate it!

It's a nice small game, though I would have liked a more polished product for its scope. A few bugs to take a look at:

There was a constant visual glitch on the main character's head from a shader.

Between "cutscenes" there was always a jerky cut when retaking control of the main character.

The boat ride feels weird as it meanders through the water, and before disembarking it clips straight through the dock haha.

I also don't know if there was supposed to be a use for the ball magic spell. I may have missed something.

The visuals and design were really nice. The movement felt smooth and well executed! Great job :)

Thank you for your feedback!

- The glitch you talk about regarding the shader, it's actually part of the story lol. After rewinding time, the character loses part of himself do to the powerful magic. It is somewhat mentioned in hte monologue, "The world remembers. Through my will, the past stirs… but to touch time is to be touched by it. What I give may never return."

- I will look into the jerkiness you mention when switching back to the player after a cutscene.

- Sadly, i didn't have the time to do proper animations for the boat haha.

- The magic spells (both left and right click) are to unreavel the past. You passed by areas that were color graded through particle effects. Yello for the orb and green for the pulse.

As short as it was, this was a work of art. Aesthetics and storytelling make me wish it was a full game.

The voices are really good, did you record them?
For a moment I thought the boat had left me, luckily it's on a loop haha good job dude

Developer

I am happy you enjoyed the experience.

As for the voice overs, it was a mix. I recorded the original dialogues and then used ElevenLabs to transform my performance onto the two voices.

Hello. So it looks gorgeous, but it did crash my pc on time travel. But it sounded like ti was doing something intense. Love the look and feel. Voices are also really awesome!!

Developer

I am really happy that you enjoyed it. I am sorry to hear that your PC crashed. It's weird though, because the game does compile shaders in the background before the level actually starts. I will look into it.
