Really cool, maybe the dash could have been a little bit more powerful, I didn't really feel like I need it to use it, but it might just be because it used it badly haha

Developer

thanks for playing:)

I agree that the dash does not serve much purpose right now. Initially, I planned it so the map collapses about 50%, so the dash can be used to dash over empty tiles(void). However, because of a collider bug I failed to resolve, I decided to change it to the current version where only about 20% of the map collapses. The dash is not really useful rn, but its main purpose is just to provide a short invulnerable time and dashing over void.

Thanks again for the review!

this game is absolutely incredible

Developer

thanks! I’m glad you liked it:)

My game is more just like a flashy effect lol. The gameplay is basically bullet hell +  collapsing maps hehe

As i said in the discord server im gonna put as much visual effect as possible to cover up my actually bad visual and gameplay

thanks again for the review!

This game has a lot of potential.... Nicely made !

Developer(+1)

thanks:)

Initially I tried to fit my time frame to allow more mutation variety and better polishing in general; however, I got way too carried away with particle systems I didn’t even do a start/end screen lol

thanks again for the review!

Real Cool and impressive especially for only 2 days work

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

Sadly I couldn't do a proper intro/end scene because of my dev time, but I am still proud of finally figuring out particle systems, and bullet hell games hehe.

Thanks again!

I loved the use of the theme!

Developer

Thanks for playing:)

I was actually worried how my theme would go unnoticed because I put everything in the game description instead of the game itself lol.

(If anyone else is reading this comment the theme implementation is that the system is constantly being attacked by viruses and collapsing making it unstable)

Thanks again!

Wow, it´s really fantastic!! The visuals, the mechanics… It’s a great job, you are better and better in each project ;)

I detected a bug. If a square collapses when the robot is walkin in it, it gets stucked inside the “hole”, hehehe.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks:)

Yeah getting stuck in walls was a bit of a bug at the start...

However, since dashing could leave the square, so mainly i just left it as a small obstacle in this "unstable" world as it is the theme hehe:)(I just got lazy and decided to not fix it and called it a feature). Mostly, player is avoiding dashing into walls lol

Can't wait to see your future projects! From Trijam, every single one of your games are amazing.

(And I will guess you will participating in the featured GDevelop jam lol)

Lol, I didn´t read the instructions XDDD. You can dash also hehehe. Note for myself: read all the instructions!! Yep, you are right, you converted a bug into a gameplay mechanic! Is a very clever movement.

Thanks!! Right now I am working in a local jam until may in my little free time, and in may I will participate for sure in the GDevelop jam (if not too busy).

Developer

I would recommend reading the game descriptions before loading the game:)

Hopefully everyone had a good jam
