Use of the limitation
Our four colors are red, yellow, blue, and green. We allowed ourselves four shades of each color. We attempted to use no other color on any of the pixel art, including black or white, though some slipped through on certain assets.

The concept was interesting but I feel like the math section could be more gamified :) maybe make it a multiple choice question where the player picks the answer using arrow keys because the answer input screen felt a little disengaging... and also a tutorial would be nice but others have already mentioned this :) nonetheless good job managing to submit on time hahaha
I like the concept, but it's not very exciting right now, and the UI needs a lot of work. The turn count does not increase, and the order of the spell elements doesn't make sense, everywhere else the order is shown as water, fire, air, earth.
Nice game! A tutorial would've been nice but the mechanics are quite simple so it didn't take too long to understand what to do. Great game and looking forward to more!
Nice work! Main feedback for me was that I almost didn't find the player to start playing the game
Thanks for trying it! And that's fair, gonna have to think of how to highlight the player better for sure! Was thinking of having a tiny tutorial map to ease the player in mebe.
The work in the game is nice, but overall, it's hard to understand a little. I was able to move my enemies in first turn.
Hey, thanks for trying it and for the feedback! Totally fair, we ended up closing the gameplay loop pretty last minute, and so lots of bugs ended up staying in the build XD Working on a post-jam build to try and clean it up, make it so you can't move enemies, make player actions more intuitive, and adding a tutorial plus maybe a couple more levels.
