Hello all! I'm a Hispanic 21-year-old voice actress based in Philadelphia, and I'm looking for a team to join for this upcoming game jam!
I have a general North American accent (though I can do Southern as well) and am fluent in English and Spanish. I can do feminine voices from a child to around 50s, though I specialize in younger voices aged around a teenager to late 20s. I can also voice male children.
My discord is so.fia if you'd like to message me there!
Hey Sofia, this is going to be the first game jam I've joined with more than just 2-3 days left to submit...and only my 2nd ever. If the game produced/scope of work is very small relative to a game that would get a "standard" release, and more or less meant as a portfolio filler, do VAs expect monetary compensation? Let me know your general thoughts. I set up a discord account a while back but almost never used it, should get that back up and running.
I guess it depends on the VA and their willingness to do unpaid projects! Usually, if it were to have a commercial release though, I would assume most VAs would expect some form of payment.
I'm open to both paid and unpaid projects, and I'd love to talk more if you wanted to dm me, if you get your discord back up and running!
