I'm afraid I'm too clumsy for this type of game. I catapulted myself out of the initial room level bounds twice while grappling! It seems to be a fun concept, though, and with the issues fixed already mentioned here, it could be something real fun and challenging.
Fun game. My guy sure can survive for a long time without oxygen though. I think combining health with movement cost would be interesting idea. As currently designed I found the oxygen drained too quickly, leaving me with a grapple and few options to slow down, making picking up objects a little frustrating given the long pickup time. I enjoyed playing, thanks for making.
The ending... now I want to play more of it! Solid game, awesome!
Very original concept. I think it just needs polish and a better camera controller.
Really fun game with a lot of potential! The camera was wigging out constantly, but it was still a fun experience!
Cool concept, the game itself needs quite a bit of work but the idea is there; it's a good starting point. Good job!
Great concept. I found it quite cumbersome to grapple around and could never collect any oxygen as it
would fly away and explode before I could capture it. The camera in the floor was quite annoying. Maybe a back ray cast
would help.
Also if you put your avatar update to camera cast in the LateUpdate() instead of Update() and the jitter
will go away.
I couldnt complete it after 4 attempts because I was getting thrown out of the hangar and floating away into space.
Overall, with a few tweaks it will be solid! good job!
Everything about this game was great... except for the camera. I quite enjoyed it overall. Just a few notes:
Interacting needed a progress bar. I was beginning to think it was bugged because I kept failing to pick things up. If the player needs to hold a button down for a set duration, it should have a progress bar indicator.
The camera collided with everything and got sucked into the floor when my character got too close to the floor. I really enjoyed the game, but the camera was easily the worst thing about it.
It felt like the grapple didn't always shoot where I was aiming. Like if I aimed at something the grappling hook would latch onto a specific set point on the object and not where I hit it. This was most noticeable with large objects. I think it also happened with the floor. I tried to pull myself along the floor and instead shot straight down I think. At least I think that might be what was happening.
I'm glad you got the issue sorted and we can now play the game, because its good. Great job!
Wow, I thought this entry was a mistake, great job! The camera bugs out sometimes, but other than that, I liked it. I hope people still vote even though it’s really late.
