A+++ structure.  See this is why I fail something like making a techno piece (an aside, obviously this isn't that) i squirm and then do something else with it immediately.  Well done, well-disciplined.  Things are in well defined sections, the assignment was understood and followed well.  I'm tough grading creativity but then people know my things are biased toward instability, so, there's that.

Really this was quite pleasant.

Cheers

Wow, does this song only use 2 instruments throughout the whole song? I have always been called out (in a positive way) for being able to make a lot happen with little instrumentation, and I see you're fond of it as well :). You got the base down pretty solid, and I would encourage you to now build on top of this though. Perhaps add some extra layers (an extra melody, other instruments reinforcing the chords, etc.). I feel like this can be taken to the next level!

Also, I like the focus on the "dancing" aspect of the Gnome by making a fun drum-centered dance-beat. Correct me if I'm wrong though, but the theme seems to be mostly a bit dark (using a lot of minor chords), which I wouldn't expect for a happily dancing gnome. I am curious as to the reason behind this :)

Nice song, well done :D

I love minimalism) Minimalism is the head of everything) With the help of a small number of tools, you can convey a lot and it doesn't overload your ears) The rest have some kind of ambient (I think...I'll experiment with the levels in my next music tracks!

It's a pity that I was the only one who conveyed the dancing side of the gnome. Yes, I probably use a lot of minor in this track! Melancholy is like the highlight of my tracks)

Thanks for the feedback!

No problem! I like that you have a strong sense of identity: minimalism and melancholy. Stay true to what you like :). Though definitely don't be afraid to venture out and try new things too! My identity used to be "odd time signatures", but only after I strayed away from that path did my music really shine through. And since music jams have random themes which may not always align with 'minimalism' or 'melancholy', it may be a great time to try out something new :)

Song has a lot of energy, especially at 0:44 and 1:28. Felt the low pitches on the drum  could've been tamed a bit.

The Gnome is dancing! He likes the drums because they give him energy!:)
