I think this is a cool idea. I like the beat, and the way the dot pulses twice on the double beat. I agree with DraperDanMan's point about the rotating symbols - bit too mind bending for me. Hope you are enjoying it and can keep going :)

This is really really cool! I don't really like the rotating direction symbols though. I disliked every edge except the bottom edge.  Getting a bonus move on the double beat feels absolutely awesome. Super impressive what you've managed to achieve in pulp!
