  • Cool game. I wish there was a bit more audio and that it was more satisfying to pick up the tresor. I did end up getting killed on the beach fighting Silent Hill pyramid head and the toughest parrot the world has ever seen. Would've been nice to have the exploside barrel have a bigger radius, it seems the only way I could use them was to have the AI be stuck behind it. I do like the old school 3D esthetic, was enjoyable.

The game is really engaging, you paced the player and enemies really well, making the game feel hard but fair.

Oh cool, I'm glad to hear that, thanks for playing and commenting! :)

Very fun! I liked the variety in enemies and the explosive barrels. This is well done for a first jam!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much, I appreciate the comment!
I like the explosive barrels, too :D

i really liked this game. i think the main thing it was missing was a health pickup. like if a killed enemy had a 1/10 chance to drop a heart or something. otherwise great game, little unforgiving, but fun!

Developer

Thanks for playing, and yeah it is quite unforgiving, I let my wife play-test it and she really struggled, too :') I started the jam late so I tried not to add too many mechanics, it's also my first game jam so I just wanted a finished project at the end of the day. Appreciate your comment! :)

Tips for survival:
1) Keep moving and keep firing arrows constantly.
2) Shoot the red barrels when enemies are close to them.
3) If you can't find a treasure, it's probably under a tree somewhere.

really liked this one! The aesthetic was pretty cool, and I got a bit of flash-game vibes from it, which was nice. The gameplay was pretty fun as well, though I sometimes had trouble finding where the treasure was: maybe add a light to the treasure so it's easier to see? Other than that, great game!

Developer

Thank you!
I had a feeling people might struggle to find the treasures since they are spawned randomly, good idea with the light, I'll keep that in mind for future reference, I appreciate your comment!

I couldn't beat the final boss — it would've been better if the game reloaded the last level instead of starting from the very beginning.

Also, the parrot's scream had me laughing so hard!

Developer

Ah damn, my advice is to keep moving while shooting - I thought about reloading from the last level instead of the beginning but I didn't wanna make the game too easy. Thanks for playing, though! The parrot's scream makes me chuckle, too :D
