I love it! I'm a big fan of Age of War style games, great visuals and cool power-ups. Made it to round 50, but those little goblins got me on the 51st!
Thanks so much! I definitely need to work on progression and some kind of satisfying ending. Best of luck!
Very nice! Reminds me of a game I used to play when I was younger. It was called Age of War on MaxGames, This definitely has a lot of potential!
Thanks for playing! Nice game suggestion - I watched a trailer, and I'm definitely going to check it out.
This was a really enjoyable game, the loop was fun and held up, but what really made the experience for me was that awesome parallax background which makes the game feel more like a screen-saver. I think there's tons of potential for this game to have lots of cool laid back mechanics that allow the player to just enjoy the scenery. Perhaps some resource management of some type. Regardless, it's a really fun and modular structure that I could totally see be expanded on. Well done!
Thanks very much! Great suggestions, and that's kinda the vibe I would be going for.
The game is addictive, but it would be great to have a wider variety of upgrades — for example, upgrades for the castle itself. Still, great job!
Great feedback, I appreciate it!
Thanks for playing! I agree with your comments - I just ran out of time for tuning and adding some more interesting elements. Next time!
Not bad, the game got potential. At the current stage it's not much player can do in the game, but I think you can add some abilities that player can use to kill the enemies like fireball, lightning...... you can implement it like fireball can be used after every 10 seconds or kill a specific number of enemies to get a fireball/lightning :D
Thanks! It's funny, because I had all sorts of elements planned similar to the ones you mentioned, but I spent a lot of time writing code for basic systems. In future jams, I'll have that code as a base to start with, so I can focus more on content. Take care!
This was a massive coding challenge for me. Other than core library code, the entire game was coded from scratch. While I'm quite happy with what I've accomplished, I'm sad how little actual gameplay made it in. I'm definitely excited to keep working on it after the jam. Any comments are highly appreciated!
