When I think of a cute little ghost trekking into a haunted bog, the theremin absolutely feels like a fitting instrument (which is what sounds like the main instrument was here)! The other background instruments gave it a sort of speckling quality - like lightning bugs, or other little ghosts/glimpses of other times flashing in and out. I think you did a great job fitting that theme!
As a stand-alone piece, I could have used a little more dynamic contrast, either in the individual melody, or through bringing instruments in and out to create builds and decays. An instrument like the theremin as the main melodic instrument can make it pretty tricky to do on a solo-basis just due to how the instrument itself works, so maybe playing around a little more with vibrato/expression could help that. That being said, the ending felt like the start of a build to me! So if this is a piece you are planning to add more to in the future, then I think it's an excellent level of contrast as an introduction leading to an impact moment. :)
This has so much charm to it, it's definitely haunted but in a cute way almost? It's like a ghost humming a little tune to itself, alone in the bog and dreaming of a bigger world it may never get to see. Both the song and the cover art are a great vibe, great work!
Beautiful little bewitching song. I feel somewhat reminded of some later songs of Hania Rani, like the fittingly named album "Ghosts". I feel like your music could fit this style of music quite well and might be something great to strive for.
Your song creates a great eerie atmosphere that still feels like home. And while the arrangement is simple it works quite fittingly with the build motive and tone. But I somehow wished the mix would have been a bit more subtle. Specially with the used pad synths. But overall it sounded quit good. Thank you for sharing this music. And I am very much interested what to come next of you.
Wow! I feel haunted! Great work here! Really love the spooky feel and vibe you captured here. (Something I am an unable to do myself lol) And love the synths.
Real vibey. Minimalist but incredibly tightly executed. I can't say I got "The Trek" from it, but think it's an really great piece of writing all the same that knows exactly what it's doing.
Such a magical journey. Love the theremin theme - it adds an adventurous aura to the whole experience, giving it an otherworldly and captivating vibe. It feels like stepping into a world where every moment is filled with mystery and excitement.
I love the overall feeling from this music I feel like a little ghost exploring through spooky forest. very ambient Great work :)
