The bats were pretty cool, and the environment was pretty nice to look at.
However, I couldn't seem to get past area 1, and for whatever reason, the bats took from the energy bar, and I'm unsure if they're meant to.
The bats draining from the energy bar was an intended mechanic.
It's like slender man with bats you can see!! The bats made me jump a few times lol. I like how you can store multiple batteries for the flashlight, and how it automatically refills when empty.
They key didn't disappear when I picked it up. I like the bat/flashlight mechanic.
Nice game, it gave me a spook.
Love the bat and flashlight interaction! Getting them to go away with light is really cool. I did run into some issues with bats freezing in place. I also couldn't find a way to see the story other than pressing play, and it only shows up for a second, so I had no chance to read it. Other than seeing it say "Story", I managed to take a screenshot to read it. I love the idea of the story!! I wasn't able to get past level one, and I'm unsure why. I tried using the E key around the door after getting the key, but wasn't able to get it open/get past the level. The idea is absolutely fun, I love the visuals and how the game runs! I think the only other thing that I'd suggest is maybe make the key in the map/on the ground get destroyed when being picked up, since at least when I played, it stayed on the ground and was a bit confusing. Oh, and I had to Alt-F4 to leave the game since I got stuck in LV 1. Overall, very fun.
I like how there are instructions on how to play the game with a quit and start button, I also like how well detailed the first level look for and outside area. However, I did find that not all the bats would come to the player and if a bat was too close to the player the flashlight would not work.
