I liked this game a lot. The gameplay was fun and the levels were very nice to look at. The menu was very well designed and I was impressed by how the different stats for each level were tracked. Allowing the player to choose whichever level they want was a good game design decision. The only thing I would change is to give the player more horizontal control at high speeds. I thought this was very well done.
Growing up on Sonic I am overly obsessed with repetition to get the fastest time possible to the point where if I know my time won't be faster I would just restart the level entirely, this game scratches that itch and feeds that addiction to a T, I loved the fast speeds I could reach up to as well as the massive adrenaline rush I got when I felt like I made a perfect run. I personally would have tried making the levels either longer or added more obstacles because I did find at times if I just stuck to the right I could bypass a good amount of the obstacles and get a really fast time only needing to adjust my positioning to keep my momentum until the very end of the level, however that didn't apply fully to the final level which at first I just thought was the first level recycled and then my adrenaline got a bit of a high as I leapt and found it was both levels combined and I was zooming past all the columns as best as I can. This was a very very fun game
I LOVE how weighty this feels.
Building up a ton of speed and then soaring over the second half of level 3 felt great.
It gives me MK Wii and Kirby Air Ride vibes from the physics. Slamming into objects at an angle and keeping my speed and being launched vs slamming into something head on and losing all of it feels great to me.
I built up enough speed in level 1 that I got thrown under the map when I slammed into the house.

Fun Game! Only issue was that some of the obstacles didn't have collision.
Ah, this game is definitely short and sweet. This might be one of the most fun I've had in playing the games here - it's a bit silly in a good way. I love the raw speed you can build, and the ramp in level 3 was also just like a cool addition haha. Fighting for a high score/best time is exciting to me. Great job here.
I like that each level has a saved best time to beat. When the game is paused, it still runs behind the pause panel. Having the option to go straight to the next level when beating a level would be a nice add. For level three I like how it started like level one again but dropped off into level two, however since it was a big drop, I ended up skipping almost that whole section and flying to the end. Overall the game was a nice play on the Roll-A-Ball assignments.
I really like how the game saves the time for each level and how well detailed each level is. with some short cuts like using the ramp to height and speed. I did find however if the player is going super-fast sometimes, they can clip through some objects like the tree in the 2nd level. I also like how there is a way to pause the game.
Great job creating the assets for your environment, I really liked what your did for both scenes in terms of obstacles. Your player stat feature that records the best time for each level is really a great feature. Feedback for improvements is to add some background music to match the mood of the game as well as some sound effects for collision with objects. Using the ramp when you are in level three feels like a cheat since you are basically skipping all the obstacles in level one and two and getting to the end in no time. I would rather have had the ramp propel me into a different environment, one that can only be reached if you used the ramp at the right velocity.
Excellent and classic take on RollaBall to take to the next level! The map design is perfect for the game as the obstacles are not troublesome or annoying and plenty are placed to keep the player active. I notice that when the game is paused the ball continues to move however. Other than that, I didn't find any other bugs and enjoyed the saved times to continue able to challenge myself in runs!
