Pokémon meets Stranger Things, just excellent! The 16-bit rate makes it feel like an authentic lost track from  past game and the sensation of dread and impending fate is on point.

Super!

Dude I love this mix! Plus you are the one who did the cicada one !! Loved that one. I am a huge fan. Love the style of music you got going here with the electric and strings. It really came out well, like one was on a long journey through an endless winter. Bravo!!!

Oh hell yeah, I love the mix of electronic and orchestral stuff here this goes crazy. I'm getting very strong Celeste/Terraria vibes from this with a hint of Mario Galaxy perhaps? It's determined, driving, and mysterious with all kinds of subtle details thrown in to make it all feel alive. Amazing work!

Thank You for the kind words, I appreciate it!

Speaking of Terraria, I did take some sound design inspiration from "Snow" track of the game. I will for sure check out OSTs of Celeste and Mario Galaxy, living under a rock...

The mix of different sounds as one cohesive orchestra worked very well. I would have never thought a chip tune like sound would make such a good stand in for a solo violin. Also, giving those string sounds some modulation is a nice touch. The overall arrangement is great and with the said mix gives it an otherworldly grand feeling. It holds the listener in a state of unknowing what to come and builds tension. I can see it working in an high class JRPG, like maybe something like Octopath Traveler with the mixed art styles, very well. Over all great work.

Thank You!
At first I started mainly with electronic sounds for pads, lead, keys, but later on by experimenting found out that orchestral sounds fill out the track very nicely, hence we have the track as it is. Very glad You find it cohesive.

Everwinter is a cool title!
The piece feels sharp and piercing, like the breaking of ice or the shattering of icicles. The harmonies add a striking contrast, emphasizing the cold, relentless atmosphere. It’s as if each note cuts through the frozen air, while beneath it all, there's an underlying strength and determination. The climax stands out as a true battle of the traveler, pushing through the harsh, icy landscape. It’s a beautiful balance of fragility and resilience!

Thank You! Appreciate it.

Title is as simple as it gets, heh.  As for the sharpness and piercing, I took 'spectral' inspiration from Terraria's "Snow" theme, happy to see I managed to get the idea across.

Peace!

Very cool track with a lot of unique sounds. The combination of modern orchestral elements with retro-styled sounds made for a unique listen. Enjoyable tense composition with a heavy sense of urgency that fits the theme very well. Overall, a dramatic and enjoyable track with a unique sound selection.
