Damn those boars are tough, sometimes my bullets don't register/hit which adds to the challenge -

Thank you for playing! It was a little hard to find the right gun sound on Bosca Ceoil, the stock gunshot instrument didn't sound right, and I'm happy that you loved it :)

Great job for a first game jam!
Finally managed to kill some. I had to hide in the grass and shoot in random directions hoping to hit boars of screen. It's true that the boars are a bit fast, but I think that's fine for a stealth game in which you are not meant to be spotted. I think the bigger problem is that often the player can't reach hiding places without being seen or can't see any boars from the hiding places. The pixel art is really nice
Nice game! I liked the idea of needing to hide in bushes to kill some boars, but it was nearly impossible to kill a boar without being in the bush lol. My advice would be to make the boars a bit slower, and only begin to chase the player when provoked, to give the player a head start. Other than that, it's a pretty fun psuedo-stealth game! Great work, especially for a first game-jam!
Bro, I just couldn’t manage to kill the boar! He teleports right on top of me, and once I try to run, he’s already too close — and it seems like my bullets don’t even hit him. What am I doing wrong?

Great graphics, love the pixel art. I like the idea of the bush mechanic. The boars charge and run too fast, though. Once they spot you it's really hard to outrun them because they have the same speed as the player.
But for a first game jam this is very good!
Thank you so much! I thought the same speed should pose a good challenge, but a lot of comments have raised the point of the boars being too punishing, so need to work on that.
Great job on this game! The art assets are very nice. The bush mechanic is easy to miss so I got tanked on my first few goes, but once you find it out it is pretty nice to stealth around and just hunting some boars :)
The boar charge is pretty funny, though maybe slowing the initial charge down just a tad would be nice so you at least have a better split opportunity to kill the boar if you get spotted.

I like this game, the controls feel nice and I like the pixel art.
Those boars absolutely launch themselves at you, made me jump the first time it happened haha.
It feels a bit unfair that no matter how far away you shoot them from they jump right into your face and mess you up.
